I'll guess, based on todays silver spot price: $279-$300 range per set...add on approx $200 grading fees per set..( First Strike) includes s&h both way.

We could very well have a perfect storm brewing: Pent up demand due to silver pulled for repricing, rarity, holiday gift giving. All that's needed would be the "one per HH" rule.

Agreed on the pricing, in my limited time collecting the Mint never seems to adjust the price down very much and if the 2010 ATB P pricing is any indication this set will be around 4 hundred.

In 2006 Silver was $12 an ounce. The 20th Anniversary Sets were $100. So the set sold for almost 3X the price of Silver. If you take that kind of pricing from the mint in 06 the set could well be around $425-$450. But I guess this time the cost of packaging won't take a large percentage of the final price and the mint will probably sell the set at $359.00.
I can not find all the pieces of my 50 th set that came back from PCGS. Novice Question?Is a complete slabbed set important when selling the set? How best would this set be stored if graded as a set....or would '69's be about the same value if,(not graded),in it's sealed carton? My mail is at the end of USPS limits and deliveries take more time,whitch by the time it gets sent to PCGS they have stoped using the "70" grades. It would be nice if one could instruct the US Mint to deliver coins to PCGS in the customers name.

IMHO, the common bullion coin of this set will command a premium over the "regular" bullion coin for 2011 if it is certified as part of the 25th anniversary set.

I don't think the Treasury boys & girls are nearly as concerned about this set as we would like to think...my biggest concern is the lowering of the household limit.
I don't think they will lower the household limit. I believe it was 10 limit for the 20th Anniversary. If they lower the household limit, my guess is that they will only have made 100K. If they don't lower it, it could be 250K minted.
I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see the mint lower the limit to one per household once they see the overwhelming demand for these sets.

I don't know...I think they have a pretty good idea about the demand. I see it as a gift for the Mint's recent ASE collector snubbings.

Sounds reasonable.
However, I'd be totally surprised if the set went for less than $300.

Doesn't mean it will hit $40 by then. Just means it is finding support around $30-$32, but it still heads south of there as well.

That's correct on the 100K/5 per. The release date was 10/27, but I'm not sure of the source?

The source was a poster that "heard it from someone at the Mint".....take that for what it's worth but it does sound like a reasonable sale date...
Maybe even $280.
Apparently it may be a month or so before the Mint begins to ship these once the orders are placed on the 27th.
