Excellent. Appears to have been added today. I was skeptical of the 100k but this solidifies it. It does pay to be wary.

$299 sounds about right given current spot and the 5 coins and presentation. These might go quick.

Does this qualify for frothy frenzy status?
It does seem like a lot of people all on one side of the boat.
(I'm fired up and can't wait to get as many boxes as possible)

I can't believe the greed and the way that people want to work around the system (which screws others who are playing by the rules).
Flipping is fine. Even having a 2nd set of flips imho......but to try to work around everything and go whole hog for greed?

Whatever.

Pricing will be determined primarily by:

1. How quickly these sell out next Thursday.
2. How many sets get flipped.

No big secret here. Simple supply and demand.

The one thing that's been bothering me about this offering is the HH limit of 5. It's almost as though they want a quick sellout to get these out of the way. They certainly seem to be clueless as to what this will mean for the collecting public. They don't seem to have learned a thing from the ATB fiasco. I'm beginning to wonder if anyone is really in charge over there.

Ok this is why I asked, is our host putting labels on the five saying 25 anniversary? If so than I may not pay for the FS . As long as the five coins come back in a 25 anniversary label, first strike will really mean nothing. Guess will wait and see. Enjoy

Fail

I doubt very much they made extra of the 2 key coins in this set and there will not be time to go back and make more of them as I am sure they

are already making the 2012's. What they came out with in 2006 was the burnished w and it could not be labeled as part of the anniversary set

so it is the rarest of the W minted coins at this point.

Thats a whole lot more Likes than coins at 5 a person will even come close to satisfying. Good luck to the donks buying one at a time to get their 5

And does anyone have any thoughts on if MCM will be offering a premium to flip sealed boxes to them?

Here's what we can tell you so far:

1) We don't know what we're paying until sometime in between when the mint figures out what they are charging and the morning of sale.
2) In spite of #1, we will make every effort to be the "higher buyer".
3) We will be buying sealed boxes only.
4) You can "pre-confirm" the morning of the 27th by email but you must follow up with USM order numbers by 7pm ET or we reserve the right to cancel transaction.
5) Once we have your USM order numbers it's a non reversable deal. You must deliver sealed sets, and we must pay as agreed.
6) Our checks mail within one business day of receipt of coins, and FedEx is available at no charge if requested. (min 5 sets for free FedEx)
7) We will NOT pay your shipping and insurance on less than 5 sets. We WILL pay your shipping and insurance in exact amount up to $35 total on 5 or more sets but it is ultimately your responsibility that the sets arrive to our office safely.
8) You must ship the sets to us within two (2) business days of your receipt from the USM.
9) Opened USM boxes will be returned.
10) Our buy price will likely be higher if you can confirm 20 or more sets.

For graded sets, one would think that you would need to get about $425 a set just to break even. >>





if you sold the MS/PR69 set for $444.00 on ebay with paypal and ebay fees in the $40 range

you break even in $ not in time wasted


the only way you could really make anything is you get 5 MS/PR70's out of 25 at min

I should get grades in 2 weeks, so I will have that info for when the set start shipping


I sent in 25 silver eagle as a test run for this,

10 2010 PR w
10 2011 PR W
5 2011 MS W

to see what 70's % I get , most likely I will be paying for plastic

Common, they will most likely start shipping mid Nov, 2 to 3 week after initial sales. and will be on backorder status the moment you order

newbie kinda question...

other than scrambling to do a quick flip(not interested)
and remembering that the 2010 ATBs which only had about 27,000ish minted appear to have gone on to somewhat now crash in price and seen to be for sale everywhere all the time and with few buyers,
other than buying and keeping the 25th SE set for their beauty/simple collectability
there may be no invertment return on these if held longer term.
Is that correct?

There are an aweful lot of collectors of ASEs. The issues that are limited and not offered separately should bd highly sought after years from now.

According to PCGS customer service, only 2 coins will qualify for the FS label: the S unc and the rev. prf. You also
must submit the box sealed to get the 25th Anniv. Label. on all 5. So if you're looking for label uniformity on the

set of 5, you will have to forgo FS altogether. Interesting dilemma. >>

The irony here is that there is a rumor going around that every coin in this set is the result of a special production run. If true, that would lend some justification to having them all classified as first strikes.
