it was overall a sack-tastic game , moreso for one than the other ouch.
why didn't chicago stick a backup qb in at the end ? down 2 scores no time outs why get the new guy killed for no reason?

because we legit have one of the worst HC-OC combos in the NFL
Caleb has weapons everywhere -- Odunze, Keenan Allen, D.J. Moore and Kmet -- but for about the 4th or 5th time this season he had a hard time cracking 100 passing yards in a game. questionable, unimaginative play calling, a terrible offensive line made even worse with injuries, an inconsistent (at best) running game.........the entire offense is an unmitigated disaster and Eberflus & Waldron have no answers. Caleb hasn't thrown a TD in a month and that should be enough to get both of those clowns canned, but unfortunately the Bears never fire coaches midseason
the level of talent surrounding Maye pales in comparison, yet that kid looks promising. so it is possible. but not if you employ people who shouldn't be there

It's crazy that I completely forgot that Keenan Allen was even on the Bears

i agree he is too fearless when he runs , and that interception was awful, then he said he was throwing it away? I don't believe it , you don't throw away where anyone can catch it

I figured Miami was going to smash them but the penalties are seriously annoying this team is very undisciplined which isn't helpful when they are not that good to begin with

I really dont see what the shine was for Mayo. Kraft seemed all wound up to have him be the next HC. I hope he does lose the team and they replace him. I was hoping they would hire Vrabel last year. Mayo hasnt shown me anything

That being said , twitter is full of BillyB supporters still butthurt over his firing , supporters of the 4-13 guy mad about the current guy who may with luck go 4-13. They don't seem to grasp that there is no high ground to be claimed here

I've been kind of hoping that we see Alex van Pelt get replaced with Josh McDaniels as their OC. Vrabel & McDaniels was who I originally wanted to take over after BB. This is all moot though because Kraft isn't moving on from Mayo after one season.

This team has now become a daily soap opera around here. I just got done watching this video of the Krafts being "resigned" to the fact that this is somehow now a multi-year rebuild as if everyone didn't already know this all last offseason and the 12 weeks since the season started. As Dennis Green once said "they are who we thought they are."
The only thing about their season to this point that has been unexpected has been Drake Maye has likely played better than we all thought he would. Everyone else has been pretty meh so far.I don't know who will be available in Free agency as far as offensive linemen go but the front office should focus the majority of their cap space and draft capitol towards building a capable Oline. Right now their expected available cap space for this next offseason is 139M, they can afford to overpay and convince FAs to come here.

Him taking the college job makes perfect sense. Now he will be exposed to all the cheerleaders and pretty young girls that his heart desires.

Sadly the Patriots are back to the days of Rod Rust and Sullivan ownership when winning a game cost the team better draft picks. I was fortunate enough to be living in New England during the Brady period, It was a fun ride. I don’t think I’ll see another championship New England Patriots season in my lifetime.

She was a college cheerleader but shes definitely more excited about the money hes making again. She also wont need to be around him as much anymore now that hes coaching in college which if he actually wants to make a real effort takes a lot more time and effort than the NFL does.
He really didnt have any NFL options as a head coach, but supposedly a big reason he took the job was for his son. His sons the DC at Washington and theres a ton of rumors Bill will coach 2 years and then his son will get the HC job at UNC

Penn State had a fraternity that was composed mostly of football players. I would guess that all major colleges have that.
So Bill could attend the football fraternity parties with no problem. I doubt that any coed would turn down a dance with him. LOL
