We should use next year's 6th rounder on this kid, I'm ok with waiting for him to reach whatever NFL age requirements needed. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/e59KsSL1bLE
why didn't chicago stick a backup qb in at the end ? down 2 scores no time outs why get the new guy killed for no reason?
because we legit have one of the worst HC-OC combos in the NFL
Caleb has weapons everywhere -- Odunze, Keenan Allen, D.J. Moore and Kmet -- but for about the 4th or 5th time this season he had a hard time cracking 100 passing yards in a game. questionable, unimaginative play calling, a terrible offensive line made even worse with injuries, an inconsistent (at best) running game.........the entire offense is an unmitigated disaster and Eberflus & Waldron have no answers. Caleb hasn't thrown a TD in a month and that should be enough to get both of those clowns canned, but unfortunately the Bears never fire coaches midseason
the level of talent surrounding Maye pales in comparison, yet that kid looks promising. so it is possible. but not if you employ people who shouldn't be there

It's crazy that I completely forgot that Keenan Allen was even on the Bears
I thought once you guys got rid of that complete idiot Nagy they would be trending in the positive direction but apparently not.

i thought he had a bad game but i still enjoyed it. I guess if they hadn't won i'd feel different.
i agree he is too fearless when he runs , and that interception was awful, then he said he was throwing it away? I don't believe it , you don't throw away where anyone can catch it
Can we get a new OL and kicker for Christmas please
I figured Miami was going to smash them but the penalties are seriously annoying this team is very undisciplined which isn't helpful when they are not that good to begin with
His job isn't done once they step on the field, is he just an idiot or is he trying to get his players to just not want to play for him?
I really dont see what the shine was for Mayo. Kraft seemed all wound up to have him be the next HC. I hope he does lose the team and they replace him. I was hoping they would hire Vrabel last year. Mayo hasnt shown me anything
His job isn't done once they step on the field, is he just an idiot or is he trying to get his players to just not want to play for him?
Nobody fluffed kreepy kraft like Mayo apparently , he is the fluffiest fluffer of all.
That being said , twitter is full of BillyB supporters still butthurt over his firing , supporters of the 4-13 guy mad about the current guy who may with luck go 4-13. They don't seem to grasp that there is no high ground to be claimed here
if you had kept our guy you would win one more game!
The penalty thing is strange but there were alot last year too. And the breakdowns on defense? supposedly they didn't happen last year but we went 4-13 anyway.
The W-L record is all that matters but personally I'd rather watch Maye lose than Mac Jones lose if the records are going to be the same
defense is worse offense is better result could be the same

I've been kind of hoping that we see Alex van Pelt get replaced with Josh McDaniels as their OC. Vrabel & McDaniels was who I originally wanted to take over after BB. This is all moot though because Kraft isn't moving on from Mayo after one season.

i haven't seen him this year , is there a redemption arc ?
This team has now become a daily soap opera around here. I just got done watching this video of the Krafts being "resigned" to the fact that this is somehow now a multi-year rebuild as if everyone didn't already know this all last offseason and the 12 weeks since the season started. As Dennis Green once said "they are who we thought they are."
The only thing about their season to this point that has been unexpected has been Drake Maye has likely played better than we all thought he would. Everyone else has been pretty meh so far.
I don't know who will be available in Free agency as far as offensive linemen go but the front office should focus the majority of their cap space and draft capitol towards building a capable Oline. Right now their expected available cap space for this next offseason is 139M, they can afford to overpay and convince FAs to come here.
this really surprised me. perhaps the NFL victory record is not as important to him as we thought. I would think accepting this college job will keep him from ever reaching that record. especially at his age.

nobody wanted this fool , it was either slum in some garbage college (which is all of them) or empty garbage at a fast food joint. his tv or podcast work whatever he is doing now , is atrocious . Take shots at the patriots week after week when they are just as bad as his team with zero self awareness.
he is bringing Lombardi what does that idiot even do? never mind just put all the team B stiffs on the payroll
Maybe you guys didn't notice Belichick's current girlfriend? She's around 24 years old, and I think she was a cheerleader at one time. Something like that.
Him taking the college job makes perfect sense. Now he will be exposed to all the cheerleaders and pretty young girls that his heart desires.
Look for the new video coming out next season, "Bill Belichick enjoying a hot tub with the North Carolina cheerleaders." LOL

like some scowling hugh hefner , but as soon as he climbs into the tub the water turns turns to vinegar
Sadly the Patriots are back to the days of Rod Rust and Sullivan ownership when winning a game cost the team better draft picks. I was fortunate enough to be living in New England during the Brady period, It was a fun ride. I don’t think I’ll see another championship New England Patriots season in my lifetime.

Given that 9 teams have 2 wins, should be sending the Titans kicker Christmas gifts lol> @stevek said:

She was a college cheerleader but shes definitely more excited about the money hes making again. She also wont need to be around him as much anymore now that hes coaching in college which if he actually wants to make a real effort takes a lot more time and effort than the NFL does.
He really didnt have any NFL options as a head coach, but supposedly a big reason he took the job was for his son. His sons the DC at Washington and theres a ton of rumors Bill will coach 2 years and then his son will get the HC job at UNC
I would guess Bill just took the UNC job so he can look for a girlfriend young enough to be his great granddaughter so he can dump the one that’s only young enough to be his granddaughter. 😎

after netting out the yards in both directions that is a zero yard TD , the people yelling are very annoying
Actually looked like a well rounded team today.

Great job by the entire team, that Chicago D didn't do much and we handily won.
Great game for the Pats
it was overall a sack-tastic game , moreso for one than the other ouch.
why didn't chicago stick a backup qb in at the end ? down 2 scores no time outs why get the new guy killed for no reason?
Because most NFL coaches are buffoons
9 sacks yesterday. I imagine Mr. Williams will be plenty sore today!

ehh it was ok
Kupp and Nacua both with 100 yards against the D.
The team needs as much D help as it does on O
when the other team makes adjustments we are done , we have like 1 wrinkle which they figure out and then we don't adjust in return

I noticed Brandon Cooks making a few plays today. The Patriots decided he was washed like 5 years ago
reminds me of Jonu Smith on Sunday , another epic fail by the greatest coach/GM of all time
Totally agree
at least they cleared up the penalties on offense

maybe bill is going to pledge at a frat?
Can't join, he'd have to be a student.
Penn State had a fraternity that was composed mostly of football players. I would guess that all major colleges have that.
So Bill could attend the football fraternity parties with no problem. I doubt that any coed would turn down a dance with him. LOL
