I’m impressed with Oregon. No offense to OSU fans but I want to see the Ducks pull this one out.

3rd quarter. Unranked Florida 10-0 over #8 Tennessee. I'm sure basebal will say Florida is a good team.

Theres only one clear team that would jump them with the Ole Miss LSU winner, but Vandy and South Carolina are not getting anywhere near enough credit especially South Carolina. Theyre sneaky good that play teams tough when their QB is healthy.

Clemson beating a bad Wake Forrest isnt really worthy of jumping up,. BYU beating Arizona wont jump them 7 spots, ND beating Stanford isnt worthy of a 4 spot jump without upsets and their loss is much worse than Bamas. Part of it is just whose worthy of jumping a team that won and there just arent many. I guess maybe Tennessee if they win which would put Bama at 9.

So, you want me to believe that Bama, who was ranked #1 before the debacle in Nashville, where a non-ranked team, who was at least a 21 point dog and beat Bama, dropping them to #7...now back-to-back, another non-ranked team, who was also a 21 point dog, nearly beat Bama again, only by a whisker does Bama pull it out of the fire for a 2-point win.

Two NON-ranked teams score 65 point against Bama, who is currently ranked 7th...now you think Bama will only drop 1 or 2 places??? Bama played two easy peasy teams they should have crushed, but thier defense was elsewhere. If they only drop 1 or 2 places, then I think something is wrong with those who vote. Might as well play Billy Bud High School if the team you barely beat and you were favored by 21 points, simply counts for a win.

We'll soon see, but I think 10th or worse.

Its going to be 1 or 2 they drop not that it really matters since the playoff rankings are different and most teams still control their future with the schedules left.

I would ask again though who should jump them? ND shouldnt. Clemson shouldnt. BYU shouldnt. Iowa State shouldnt. Penn State got lucky again USC, Illinois gave up 40 points in the second half to to go overtime. Georgias already ranked ahead of them, Oklahoma got dominated by Texas, Pitt barely beat Cal. Whose supposed to make the major jump?

The only one that really could be clearly is the LSU Ole Miss winner

They should have wrapped up the game after Smith's catch, but for some reason, he can't put his hands out when the DB closes on him - he has EVERY right to run his route .... terrible call. The catch stands and we kick the field goal - game over.

Oregon tried to give that game away several times and OSU just wouldn't let them. They were even down 7-6 in the first from an extra point debacle that almost turned into a run back for OSU.

Howard still had better overall stats than Gabrial. You Bama fans are laughing, but the game could've gone either way.

    Total yards -OSU 467 Oregon - 496
    1st downs - OSU 21 Oregon 18
    Possession- OSU 33:09 Oregon 26:51

Hey MCMLVTopps, who is your team, who do you pull for?

I've always kinda liked Texas, Ewers is a tough cookie. Seems a lot of people want Arch Manning to sideline Ewers, but I think some of that is he's related to Peyton, which to me means nada. Stick with the guy that got you where you are. I DO NOT like Notre Dame, LSU or OSU. These teams seem to like to flaunt an entitlement attitude, too much swagger. I do like to see them get beat.

I live pretty close to Athens, GA, home of the GA Bulldogs, but can't seem to warm to them. I'm not a Kirby Smart fan either, something about him just doesn't hit me well. I just enjoy good football, exciting, no blowouts...like the Ducks and OSU last night, and the Tennessee win.

Looks like Bama will fall to eleventh place in the rankings, as I expected. Bama will not recover this season from having given up 65 points back-to-back to 21 point dogs, one of which beat them, the other almost did, so a 2 point win is unacceptable in this climate. Bama has a defense problem, with Tennessee, Missouri and LSU on the horizon. With that in mind, I think they will sink even further, while others climb past them...easily.

Bama will be lucky to get an offer to some obscure bowl, maybe a mid-December bowl just to throw them a bone. Of course, they could wake up and play well, but after choking up 65 points in the past 2 weeks, I think the team is demoralized and now will be enduring unpleasant workouts. One or two more losses and they're toast.

I could see you not being a Georgia fan even though you live there. Bama has whipped them 9 out of the last 10 games.

Been a Texas fan since the Vince Young and Colt McCoy days. Good enough?? If you wanna try and play "gotcha", I'm not interested.

    COACHES POLL:

Tennessee survived Florida, I thought they were going to be a powerhouse this year but the last 2 weeks says otherwise

Alabama is just not that good, it's shocking they played Georgia so tough

Ohio State and Oregon was a great game, it definitely lived up to its billing

Florida is a good team just not at QB and their schedule is basically the hardest in history. They will be the best team in the country with a not so great record. Their coach sucks too.

Nico for Tennessee hasnt lived up to the hype yet as a freshman. He missed a few wide open guys that would have been TDs. If he can fix that theyre a dangerous playoff team, if he doesnt theyll be a dangerous team just outside the playoffs looking in.

Milroe just isnt that good. Hes like Richardson when he was at FL. It drives me crazy when the announcers go on and on about Milroe bailing them out of a situation or getting a win when hes the major reason they were in a bad situation to begin with. They better get that checkbook ready or find some top rated QB in the offseason or their offensive guys will start to leave

Lol Bosie State a better win? Thats just laughable. Bosie State wouldnt even be bowl eligible if they played an SEC or power conference schedule, theyre just ranked high because a G5 conference champion HAS to make the playoffs and it will look horrendous is an unranked team takes the spot of the 12th ranked team. Theres 0 chance they are the 15th best team in the country.

Oregon fought for their life to barely beat Boise at home. Oregon only beat OSU because Will Howard a 5th year starting college QB decided to run out the clock and slide while already in FG range which made me laugh a lot. Oregon was only 3rd going into the game because they beat mediocre teams while teams ahead of them were playing real games and lost. They didnt do anything to move up other than have the teams in front of them lose.

Ryan Day is the James Franklin of OSU, his teams find ways to lose when its against a tough team. That was OSUs first actual test and they gave the game away even though Oregon tried to as well.

Texas has made everyone look like children. They went into Michigan and destroyed them. Oklahoma got destroyed by Texas and was ranked until Texas made them unranked. Oklahoma is a far better second win than Boise State is and its not even debatable. They have GA this week in a huge matchup

Penn State got insanely lucky against USC as well. They will lose, Oregon will lose. OSU will probably lose another one whether its Michigan, the conference title game, or the who wants to lose the game more bowl with Penn State.
