While these sets do not fall under the mint's weekly repricing based on spot it will be interesting if demand for the already minted sets falls to the point where the mint is compelled to lower the price to reflect silver's recent demise.

I sent 2 sets back to the mint today. Both regular proofs had milk spots on them. The 3 sets I kept probably has 7 or 8 "70's". The rest should be 69. The new enhanced finish seems to all have the diagonal lines. All mine have them and every picture and forum about these. I haven't heard of anyone having it line-free.

I told hat trick in the gold thread that I didn't think the silver drug the others up.
Seeing these numbers - the silver absolutely did pull the both up, especially the clad. Wow
I found issues with the proofs, the enhanced (overall looked bad cloudy looking plus the stripe/brush mark as previously mentioned), and the MS. IIRC one of them had consistent scrapes along the second from the right vertical bar of the shield. I found the RP's to be generally better than the rest.
And it was comical as the proofs were looking real good but then what appeared to be a dent or crater looking spot. I told my buddy, well I've looked at the Obverse and so far it's a 35 (1/2 way to a 70)...
Opened one set. The uncirculated had a milk spot. So I opened my second set to replace the milk spotted one. Both enhanceds in the both sets had the brush like marks on the portrait, but no other marks. I think this is probably how the enhanced will look and it may be normal, unless other forum members do not see it at all.
Please report if you don't see the brush marks on the enhanced. Replaced the milk spot with the other from the other set to get a nice set and sent the milk spotted set back for a return.
Still have one sealed set which will be kept as is.
I am thinking I may buy a 70 set, but still worried about the milk spotting on these.
As a side note, the new shipping company messed up my order of all 2014 ( four) $1 Coin and Spouse Medal Sets. They replaced one set with another item. This is a first, since I have never had a problem with the old company.
I got two sets, probably lucky, but they all look good, including the lack of discernable "brush" marks on the enhanced, but it does appear the brush marks a quite common with that finish.
So, I dunno, maybe that's just the way it is? The lines do not bother NGC, it's a 70. Myself, I think the lines are a showstopper. I think Ricko posted somewhere that his coin was normal, without lines.

Mint's fast shipping may the death knell for flippers ,after all these years
Coin club getting emails from individuals, not dealers.....with large lots to sell..
It has been a fun ride and am sorry to see it end but these Kennedy coins, which i stayed away from, have proven that the end to flipping has arrived.
There may be occasional things come up in the future, hopefully, and I will be watching.
If they would have shipped my gold Kennedy as quickly I would have kept it instead of cancelling it.

Big jumps for both previous coin(s). Gotta be riding off the 4 coin set.
<< <i>I take it the NGC 70 #'s are coming out very high, for how low they are charging for these sets already! I can't get any #'s, but if someone has them it would be really good info! >>

I told hat trick in the gold thread that I didn't think the silver drug the others up.
Seeing these numbers - the silver absolutely did pull the both up, especially the clad. Wow
I find to be the "S" Mint Enhanced Uncirculated to be the worst. There are alot of scrapes on the shield on my coins.

And it was comical as the proofs were looking real good but then what appeared to be a dent or crater looking spot. I told my buddy, well I've looked at the Obverse and so far it's a 35 (1/2 way to a 70)...

Total sold is a touch over 125K so far?
Please report if you don't see the brush marks on the enhanced. Replaced the milk spot with the other from the other set to get a nice set and sent the milk spotted set back for a return.
Still have one sealed set which will be kept as is.
I am thinking I may buy a 70 set, but still worried about the milk spotting on these.
As a side note, the new shipping company messed up my order of all 2014 ( four) $1 Coin and Spouse Medal Sets. They replaced one set with another item. This is a first, since I have never had a problem with the old company.

So, I dunno, maybe that's just the way it is? The lines do not bother NGC, it's a 70. Myself, I think the lines are a showstopper. I think Ricko posted somewhere that his coin was normal, without lines.
