That does not sound good. Did you push too many buttons and accidentally order more than 5?

I'm on the lap top with the Mint - and my order is in "continue Checkout" mode and its trying to connect, and on the desk top typing this.
Its been just an hour and 2 minutes since I started this... Good God is this slow. I just had to add a 5 oz Glacier Silver to my order - and its now crawling...
edit:
My order was finally accepted .... # 3833xxxx
Of course, its all backordered...

I agree. Neither my father, brother, myself nor my friends can get through. It always amazes me during these hot item sales how many seem to get through so quickly.
As I said, I just don't understand why it's impossible for The Mint to upgrade their computers to be able to handle such surges.
I was logged in ahead of time, but got logged out because of how the site was bogged down. I had less trouble with the UHR. I had my order through for it in eleven minutes. This one was around an hour to get it through. I actually got them into my cart quickly, but paying for them was a mess.
...didn't not even hear about the set until I checked the forums earlier today...know nothing about American Silver Eagles but maybe I can give away as Xmas presents.
I wish I knew how you guys are getting through - I can't load their web site and when I try calling on the phone I get as far as selecting option 1 to place an order, get told the call may be recorded, and then get a busy signal.

Thanks for the advice! It turns out that it had not gone through, so I kept trying and finally managed to get one completed -- with a confirmation e-mail -- at around 1:08 p.m. My confirmed order had an order number of 38336xxx.

You need to click on the next link and wait. If you stop the page and reload it won't work. If you wait and you get an unloaded page, go back and start over. Do not submit then stop over and over.

No confirmation email, but they are in my track order status. I cannot figure out why I did not get a confirmation email. I ordered five single sets and not on email? I have had this account for years so my email is in there system. Strange!
On one of my orders, I did not see the final order page and had no idea that the order was placed until I looked at my emails and read the confirmation. Glad I did because I was about to place another order which would have made me go over the 5 limit.

In the meantime I had tried ordering again and that one went through as well (5 more).
I already cancelled the second order, so I should be okay under the 5 per household limit, right?

The only way it isn't is because the mint's website is so darned slow. They could learn something from Ticketmaster!

Past hot Mint items tend to peak in the short-term after the sell-out, then settle down to a long-term plateau.
The 2006 3-pc Silver set peaked about $550 in the first months, and has been about $300-$350 the last 4 years. That about right, guys?
Another example is the 2008 rev 2007, which has a similar history.
