1982 Wrestling All Stars Hulk Hogan on EBAY

I just sold a #16 Hulk Hogan from the 1985 Topps set in PSA 9 for $111. I also sold #1 Hulk Hogan with the yellow background in BGS 8.5 for $44. Unless they are graded they don't sell well at all. Most are in the 5 to 7.5 range in terms of grade so when I nice one shows up they move. I said yesterday I bought the PSA 9 Hogan a month ago for $29.99 and bought two so I decided to sell one and see where the market was. I will take it.

Do you recall any of the names of the cards you have? I have been collecting wrestling cards for 25 years and do those do not ring a bell. If I knew who was in the set, I could at least place the year for you...

Be honest for two seconds,

This is pretty cool that sports cards of any kind have a bull market like this.

In order for anyone's collection to go up you need things like this to happen.

Thanks for the reply, all I remember about them is that they are not regular sized, they are the same size as topps minis.

They are yellow and have Arabic lettering. I'll go in the closet and pull them out this week and PM you a scan.

That is the 1986 Monty Gum set. It is 1-100.

I thought maybe he meant the 1986 Monte, but I am looking at some now and there is no Arabic writing on them.
There may have been some on the package, but none on the cards.

Yes it is the 1986 Monte but for some reason most spell it Monty. They do have some Arabic language on some packs but this is a Dutch set of cards. I thought this set would move but up to this point it has not. Maybe this wave will carry it a little higher.

That is definitely a classic set that is not easy to find. I have a few sets stored away myself.

It is the best pictoral wrestling set that exits and has the broadest range of performers in any set. The cards are very rare so only time will tell if this set catches a bid.

I've got a lot of old wrestling programs and stuff from when I was young. I need to dig some of them out of storage and throw some pics up. I used to be a big fan of the NWA and AWA in the mid 80's. Fun stuff. I had planned on getting one of those Hogan 82 rookie cards one day to get autographed for my signed rookie collection, but I'm not paying that kind of coin for one.
