I noticed that too, about the list. I loved keeping tabs on it before.
I think Topps set their trading up like this to avoid people selling their digital cards on ebay. The way it's setup now, it's ALMOST impossible to trade with a particular person.

Since the list is still not updating, I entered in a code and got a 1989 Nolan Ryan. Not bad trade-bait, but not worth shipping for me. Still waiting for a blow up on 50s since I missed the first one.
I will be a bit disappointed if they don't fix the 'recently unlocked' menu from showing again. I have a feeling they intentionally broke it because they were giving out 1987-1989 topps cards and were getting few entries. Notice how the page is stuck on two 50's and a bunch of 70's.

1972 Bud Harrelson in Action for 1993 Barry Bonds which was then traded for 1987 Will Clark and that has been traded for the combo of 1974 Mel Stottlemyre and 1963 Russ Kemmerer.

Have only unlocked 6 cards, so looking at trade offers is pretty fun. Was getting about 4 or more trade offers for my 1973 Willie Mays. Most were 1987 star cards for Willie, but today was offered a 1955 Bob Skinner( RC), had to take that! The 73 Mays is one of my favorite cards, but I've owned a few, but have very few '55's.

Made an All-Star team and was on the first Rangers team to make the playoffs in 96.

Hi everyone, I am conducting a little "experiment" with this promotion. My plan is to redeem 1 card and try to continue to trade up until I have any regular issue mantle card. It probably won't happen since you can only do 1 for 1 trades but I was given a bit of a head start when my one card was a 1968 topps 359 Joe Moeller. I am hoping to take baby steps (68 for a 67, 67 for a 66 etc.) and any help would be fantastic. I have already started to spam requests, sorry to anyone with any 1962 topps cards, but hopefully this will be a fun (and rewarding) experiment. Jason
what do you mean 1 for 1 trades? every time i get an offer they have about 6 odd cards to trade for my one,, there has to be a way of adding cards to trade, never tried it,,, bj
<< <i>what do you mean 1 for 1 trades? every time i get an offer they have about 6 odd cards to trade for my one,, there has to be a way of adding cards to trade, never tried it,,, bj >>
Really? I have breifly browsed through the site but haven't seen that. I think it might be 1 for 1 orders but if you choose a specific person to trade with you can offer multiple cards. But that is just a guess.
If you see my post above; someone offered me 2 cards for my 1987 Will Clark card; which I accepted, so doing a mulitple trade is good

<< <i>You can add as many cards to a trade as you want. You can only trade FOR one card though... I think. >>
From the site:
Select the CARDS YOU WANT BROWSE CHECKLIST CARD SEARCH
You can only request one card per trade.
You definately can chose as many as you want... don't hit continue untill you have selected all the cards you want to offer. If you do hit contiinue at the top of the screen you will see the card you are offering and: I AM OFFERING Ozzie Smith 1987 St. Louis Cardinals, Shortstop , 1 [ REMOVE ] ADD Add cards from your collection to your current trade offer hitting this button will allow you to add more cards.
<< <i>I offered all 23 of my cards for 1 guys 65 Dick Radatz. He declined. >>
Were any of the cards decent? I've had people offer me 5-6 cards for one, but typically they are .05-.20 cent cards for a $5-$6 card. Here's the other issue... if I accept a 23 to 1 card offer, then if I really want to keep those cards (not use as additional trade bait) I have to factor in the cost to redeem the cards.. which if I remember from an earlier post is about .40c per card... now it will cost me $9.20 to redeem those cards instead of the .40 for the one 1965 card.
As a result of this, when accepting trades I consider that part of the equation into whether I say yes or no. I'd much rather get a 1 for 1 or a 2-1 if they are cards I want. When offering trades I (being a Yankee Fan) will look for a Yankee that I'd like to have and offer a multiple card trade. Most of my trade offers will show- ! - Offered card is higher in value. (A typical example of one of my requested trades) - asking for '82 Ron Guidry (future trade bait to trade down) 5 Cards Including: Team Leaders Card 1988 Team Leaders Card 1988 Team Leaders Card / Topps Qty: 1 Paul Molitor 1988 Paul Molitor / Milwaukee Brewers Qty: 1 Joel Skinner 1988 Joel Skinner / New York Yankees Qty: 1 Mike Fitzgerald 1988 Mike Fitzgerald / Montreal Expos Qty: 1 Nolan Ryan 1988 Nolan Ryan / Houston Astros Qty: 1 ! - Offered card is higher in value.
My hope is to unload 5 cards and pick up one- then use the Guidry card and a few other '82's to trade down to a 78... then trade down to a early 70's card so that when I'm done I end up with 1 card I want to pay the .40 cents to redeem...
The best trade I've had so far was someone offered me a 1962 Robin Roberts #243 for a 1966 Jose Santiago... that was me getting a $10-12 card for a $2 card... think I did allright on that.... anyone else having any luck?
The only 1978 I have is Dave Rader; but I'd be happy to accept your bulk deal of 82's (with the Guidry) for that card.
My trader name on Topps Million is Sabrgeek

Rich: Is there a way to direct a trade on the site? I did a search on the card (Rader) and I can select it... but how would I know that it's your card? It doesn't show me the userid when I make a trade, only shows me the id when reviewing trades made to me...
MatthewBSchultz83 was able to find me; so I'd ask him in a PM how he did that (or on the boards)

Saber you posted you had a 93 Roger Pavlik. I initiated a trade for a 93 Pavlik. Anyone who had one could have accepted the 87 Yount which I offered in return. You just happened to be first.
WOW...was that the picture given on the Topps Million website? I basically guessed those were mostly stock photos they used, and the actual card you receive could be in any condition. I would have to believe that is the card you are getting or they would have put a better looking card as a "stock" photo.
They need to put a value meter on these trades things and make sure that the trade has to be at least within a certain range. I browsed the offers page for a second but the sheer number of 87 commons for 52 High Numbers was retarded.
I have a 68 Palmer and have to reject 3 offers a day of commons from 87 or 88.
Currently completing the following registry sets: Cardinal HOF's, 1961 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, 1972 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, 1980 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, Bill Mazeroski Master & Basic Sets, Roberto Clemente Master & Basic Sets, Willie Stargell Master & Basic Sets and Terry Bradshaw Basic Set
Anyone want a shock, do an all offers search on 1986. Some of the offers are mind blowing--offering a '66 Catfish Hunter for a Maris TBTC, '61 Ralph Houk for a cecil Fielder I think. It's just mind boggling...
Here are the cards I have in my account. I am looking to trade for 1955 and 1956. Please let me know if anyone wants to deal. Thanks! Bill

<< <i>Alright Matt, I got one for you -
Awaiting trade offers!! lol >>
Sent out a 79 Brewer Great Jim Ganter for the 80 Sparky Lyle. SaberGeek also made an offer on your 93 Pavlik. I loved that guy growing up. Always seemed to battle on the mound. He later developed arm problems because when he swung his body around and planted with his left foot he stepped toward 3rd base and threw across his body. Made an All-Star team and was on the first Rangers team to make the playoffs in 96.

I am conducting a little "experiment" with this promotion.

<< <i>You can add as many cards to a trade as you want. You can only trade FOR one card though... I think. >>
From the site:
Select the CARDS YOU WANT
BROWSE CHECKLIST CARD SEARCH
You can only request one card per trade.
You definately can chose as many as you want... don't hit continue untill you have selected all the cards you want to offer. If you do hit contiinue at the top of the screen you will see the card you are offering and:
I AM OFFERING
Ozzie Smith 1987 St. Louis Cardinals, Shortstop , 1 [ REMOVE ] ADD
Add cards from your collection to your current trade offer hitting this button will allow you to add more cards.

Most of my trade offers will show-
! - Offered card is higher in value.
(A typical example of one of my requested trades) - asking for '82 Ron Guidry (future trade bait to trade down)
5 Cards Including: Team Leaders Card 1988

Mike Fitzgerald 1988

Qty: 1
Nolan Ryan 1988

Rich:
Is there a way to direct a trade on the site? I did a search on the card (Rader) and I can select it... but how would I know that it's your card? It doesn't show me the userid when I make a trade, only shows me the id when reviewing trades made to me...

<< <i>check out the condition of this one :
WOW...was that the picture given on the Topps Million website? I basically guessed those were mostly stock photos they used, and the actual card you receive could be in any condition. I would have to believe that is the card you are getting or they would have put a better looking card as a "stock" photo.
<< <i>Got a 68 Drysdale last night >>
Not bad!
The guy's not even in proper fielding position for crying out loud!
Note to little leaguers this is how NOT to field a ball!
Anybody want to drop the .43 shipping on this one and wants to trade ... please let me know. It wont take much to pull this gem from me.
I have a 68 Palmer and have to reject 3 offers a day of commons from 87 or 88.
