Had to go to Wal-Mart and I bought a 2010 Topps Blaster. Got a Maris Commemorative Patch and 2 million card giveaway cards. One of them unlocked this. Any value?

Beckett lists the Simmons auto at $15.
kshorton says: i gots an Empire State Building card... seeking advice.. is this better and worth more than my psa 3 franco harris 1973 topps card which i defouled by trying to make a baby with ? Please advise. the franco card is graded.. the ESB card is not yet, and I do not want to have a baby with the ESB card.

Site appears functional for shipping. I have requested two cards. Left everything else in there. Also, did anyone else get the jackpot email they sent (with all the email addresses showing)? image Finally can contact some of the names I recognized that I have been close on doing deals with to work it out!

Just messing around on the site for trade offers and I offered the auto for several '67 high numbers and stars. In each trade there is a red highlighted exclamation point telling me that the card I'm offering is higher in value, lol.

If you recieved a card Topps deems to be a "prize card" (there are 2000) then Topps will ship it to you for free. I got all 19 of the cards I redeemed shipped ups 9-12 days delivery w/ confirmation for free.

Now the question is condition .....

That's cool and the first I've heard of that. How do you know if you have a prize card? Do you only find out at checkout?

<< <i>Well I think this is a first; or at least the first one I've seen with these cards:

    92 for $250

Not sure how it works, but I thought that for every card YOU redeem you are entered into the drawing... this auction states if you take "possesion" of his cards you increase your odds...
I don't think that's correct... taking that potential misstatement out of the equation he may be a marketing genius if he can get that trade done... >>

The person that redeems the card, gets an entry towards the 52 Mantle. You can win contests based on cards in your possesion. Least thats how I read it?!

traded the '01 Archives Simmons Auto for a '67 Clendenon high #. I figured I could get $8-$10 for the auto on ebay and there's no way I can get the Clendenon for that. What are the condition on these vintage cards? If it's EX then I made a good deal and if it's NM then I made an extremely good deal.

That's the question we're all dying to know.. Some of those OC images on the Topps site scare me.

Just about everywhere you look on the website says the card in the photo isn't necessarily the one you will receive.

By the way... the will power I had when trying to wait to enter my codes, has carried over into my patience to have my cards shipped. I just had my 22 oldest cards set to be delivered. lol, man I suck. image

I bought a retail pack with a redemption card. As I was typing it in my wife asks if we are going to Disney. I tell her that if my redemption becomes a '52 Mantle we're going to Disney. It was an '87 Ozzie Smith All-Star.

<< <i>How do you know if you have a prize card? Do you only find out at checkout? >>

I figured the 2001 Heritage Real Ones Duke Snider Auto would qualify as a "prize card." Probably anything autographed and/or from set which was not a basic topps set (i.e. heritage, archive, etc) would be considered a "prize." But otherwise there was no way to determine from the site (that I could see) to indicate that Topps considered this card a "prize." It was only confirmed when I went to get the card delivered.

Kinda funny considering a '52 or '53 high # common could be worth considerably more than some of the autographed cards (as seen in the posts above) however it looks like Topps considers the auto card as a "prize" and the commons as nonprize cards.

Someone will have to post when they try to redeem a high $ common and let us know if they were charged shipping.

the trades have seemed to have died completely, though I did get a few offers from newbies. I havent had one accepted in 3-4 days

I'm still getting about 6-10 a day, though not great ones.. Had one that I was getting 4 nice cards (2 yankees) that I accepted and then got an error message when I said yes... I was like uh-oh... but my card was still there. Unfortunately the offer disappeared... then had another one that I thought I'd accept last night, but had to run to the gym to get my son, when I got back 20 minutes later the offer was withdrawn...

But I am definately getting a few decent orders... can't seem to do that good on my trade offers though... I've only had 3 accepted and every offer I've made I get the little red exclamation saying offered card is higher in value...

Funny story about trades: I'm always looking to trade same year cards, so I look to trade my 1987 Benny Distefano for another 87 common. Going through the card search come across Billie Jo Doran (lol), it's actually Bill Doran- Houston Astros 2nd baseman. So I traded for him. They listed another player as player as Billie Jo, kinda funny. Of course Billie Jo Robideaux(sp), was a real player.

    1989 Eddie Murray 625
    2002 Mike Hargrove 298

These two are my Orioles cards (modern... you are a baltimore fan right?)

My best one if you have anything good (around the same year and value) is
    1957 Billy Gardner #17 beckett puts it at $10 VCP PSA 6 is $6.02 and a 6.5 was $19.10... but then a 7 shows $11... go figure...

Here's what I have unlocked so far. I know you're all dying to get your hands on these. I'm trying to get myself into some 65's and 72's while I wait for my Mantle, so if you have anything you're not going to redeem that might help me beef up my offers, I'd appreciate the deal. Amazingly, no one has accepted any of my offers yet, and I haven't accepted any offers of 87s, etc for that 61 Phillies Team.
