I ripped a Jumbo box today, so I have 10 ready for another "glitch". Interestingly enough, this box contained an exact complete set for redemption cards. Are all Jumbo boxes like that? Anyway... yeah I'm waiting to see some more 50s run on the list.

I think I'll stick to Walmart blasters from now on. Busted three tonight (needed something to do while I tipped back some Miller Lites) and got 4 more code cards.

To my surprise... not a single card from 1980 to present!!!

Since we do ALOT of bad mouthing topps, I'd say give it up to them for the change in the MCG site. Now when I go on and want to trade it only has copy of each card listed and my trade offer goes to everyone with that card. Huge improvement.

On the downside, now there is no way to tell the total quanties of each year or the total number of redemptions made. Overal probably a good trade off.

Since most collectors on this thread will not be redeeming cards after a certain date, say 1976 or 1980, what wil Topps do with all those unredeemed cards? A giant hot dog roast? Another garbage scow out into the Atlantic to join the long-lost 1952's? Or maybe they'll become the grand prize in the Million Card Giveaway Contest.

I would think Topps would give a 52 Mantle to whomever owns the most 87 Topps cards.

Every time I log in there are at least 3 trade offers now. Only decent one I've accepted was a 77 Rico Petrocelli for my 79 Paul Blair

someone offered me 23 2005-2009 commons for my 52. It was so hard not to click the accept button.

The only reason that guy is whining is that he was tracking the % of cards from each year....

I specifically requested this fix in an email to Topps... prior to it, it took me 3 hours to offer a handful of trades... and I'm not kidding when I say it took 3-4 minutes to click through 1981 topps Alan Trammel's if you were collecting a certain teams 1981's cards

heck no... I ripped off 35+ last time we had a run.... ordered more cards and of course darn year runs disappear =( At least the 1953 Mantle and Mays and most star 1952s are still unclaimed.

These are all redemptions, right? I saw an auction for a '73 Johnny Bench and asked the guy if he had the card in hand because I believed they wouldn't be mailed out until the 15th of March, he responded that "it came in a 2010 series 1 million card giveaway box" are these cards in the boxes or is this guy selling one from his own collection and trying to pass it off as a giveaway card?

    Here is the auction #290406396968

I would guess that is a CYMTO original back, not a true 73 bench.

Conveniently cropped to hide the logo variation on the CYMTO... More scum-like moves. Sometimes, I just wish you could send a good slap upside the head via email.
