I finally was able to track down a Lebeau and will be getting it in the mail tomorrow. I think the only other outstanding TTM I have is Tommy McDonald.

Finally a new addition TTM! I told Mr. McDonald that I missed the deadline for mail order to his last signing and was really hoping he would sign this for me. This was the initial response I received back from Mr. McDonald along with a note and my cut up personal check saying that if I sent a new check to his company, he would sign my card. It's pretty cool that he took the time to do this and I was expecting a response like this after reading the note Greg got back a couple years ago.


Well after a month and half, this came back! He again cut up my check and told me to donate the money to my church. He also said he doesn't sign through the mail anymore, only at card shows. I couldn't be happier with this addition!

Tommy "25" must have taken too many hits on the field. I don't know why he would ask for $50 to sign the card and then cut it up. He reminds me of the crazy guy from Seinfield who cut up Frank Costanza's TV guide to make a paper flower bouquet for Elaine.

1. Dan Marino rc and GLA at the recent Steiner signing.
2. Herb Adderley rc TTM (that was out since August).

I now have 99 signed rc with 10 outstanding TTM...plus I have another 9 that I'm sending to the San Jose show. Is anyone else getting anything signed at the show?

Thanks guys - the Marino rc and GLA turned out better than I could have hoped! Steiner was charging $159 per flat...so with shipping it was around $330 or so. Not too bad. He normally charges $175 to $200 at shows...so I saved a few $.

FYI - there is a private signing next month with Mark Duper for $8/per flat...and I'm sending an 84 and 85 Topps to get signed.

I just realized that i have hockey tickets for Sunday (the day Bradshaw is signing), so I am going to have to get Bradshaw by mail order unless he ends up signing real early in the morning. DAMNIT!!!! I bought a PSA6 since I knew I could ensure the condition doesnt get worse by getting it myself.

Just received this yesterday... I sent 3 cards and $40 along with a fine tipped Sharpie and all three turned out very nicely. My HOF rc stats are now:

101 currently have
9 outstanding TTM
10 sending to San Jose show

Plus, I just bought a nice PSA 6 Montana that I'm sending to the private signing on the SCN boards. $80...which is a great price!

After 3 failed attempts trying to get a Newsome rc signed, I finally bought one on E-bay for a little more than $20. Not too bad.

Of the 7 new HOFers, I have 4 rc's already signed. Of the other 3, I'm thinking of getting an Emmitt Smith rc signed at the Sun Times show next month. As for Rickey Jackson and John Randle, it doesn't appear they sign TTM...so I'll have to wait until they appear at a show.

non of mine are authenticated by psa/dna. I guess that means I couldn't be on the registry (obviously) lol
glad to see everyone still collecting these cards. I got a new job for Mizzou softball ( director of video operations is what they call me), so I'm too busy.

Actually, I would like to see the HOF auto set redacted down to only the players / coaches / owners who have a "rookie" card that we can agree upon. For instance, Joe Carr wouldn't have a rookie card...so he shouldn't be included. Basically, this set would be a replica of the HOF rc set plus a additional cards for:

1. Players who don't have mainstream cards. For instance, Tuffy Leemans doesn't have a rookie card per se, however maybe we could agree that his 1977 Touchdown card (which I believe is the only card made of him while he was alive) would qualify for this new set
2. Coaches - possibly by including the first team / checklist card of his career. For instance, Don Shula's first year of coaching was 1962 or 1963 and the 1964 Philadelphia Baltimore Colts card could be his "rookie card" for this new set
3. We could possibly even included owners. For instance, we could include the first team/checklist card of when the person took control of the team. For instance, I consider the 1964 Topps Buffalo Bills team card Ralph Wilson Jr's "rookie card"

Also, we could modify the set so that one or two cards qualify...such as 1948 Leaf or 1948 Bowman. Personally, I would like to stick with the cards agreed upon for the HOF rc set...but am open to further discussion.

I would really love to get this set off the ground and look forward to others thoughts/comments/critiques.

TTM- 4 Outstanding

Both of these were TTM, I like how they both added the "HOF" inscription
