About $ 550 - 600. I would hold on to it long term. When the mintage dust settles, I suspect
that there will be a lot fewer minted and available than officially recorded by the mint.
  • Just a current Ebay price update..............
I've got a bunch of PCGS non FS MS69s listed and have sold 3 for $519.
I'd say prices are at least stable..............

I still feel that the 69 and 70's that are first strike are selling at a very low price at this time. There is nowhere for them to go but up! There are just not many of them and will be no more!!!
  • What happened to that forum member who didnt believe people were going to receive their "free" money from Microsoft's cashback program? Is he a believer yet?

It was a good deal for those that got in, I did not have any more money to buy.
  • does the population report actually reflect cross overs, acuall loss of pop from the other tpg's making the current math not actual? this is my first on this thread, I've been here from day one and still have 2 raws in mint packing!

I disagree! Low pops is never a sure guarantee that something will continue to rise in price. The prices they are selling at right now may very well be their set price and anybody that invests in them thinking otherwise had better give their purchase some very serious consideration.

I just do not see them going any higher! Although I'm sure that this fellow wishes they'd at least get close to $3,000!

I would seriously question the sanity and validity of anybody paying $4,850 for a PCGS MS70 First Strike 2008 Rev of 07 SAE at this point in time.
But hey pittboss, you could contact this buyer through eBay and ask him if he'd like to spend $4,850 for another one!

I don't mean to repeat myself .... but for an NGC graded coin, the seller received just about what they have been selling for. NGC graded 70's are "a dime a dozen."

I owe a lot of gratitude to David for the thread. I've gotten to know a few very nice people through here.

This thread shows how coins work for people and why people work for coins.
Collectors are born through moderns because we are ACCEPTING of change a lot more than the "classic" crowd is accepting of newbies with their shiny new coins. That's just a ponderance. I am not trying to start an argument. Any time is a good time to get into collecting coins.

    Anyone BUY/SELL/SUBMIT any coins lately?

I FINALLY spent the time to pack up my 2 best raw coins tonight, along with some other stuff.
I'll be sending them off to PCGS in the morning.
Tonight, I'll dream of one 70.

Also, don't forget to send in your Quarterly Submission special by 9/30 if you haven't.
