<< <i>One of the great blunders in recent Red Sox history was the release of Orlando Cabrera - I said it at the time, and it has come back to haunt them several times. A great glove man at shortstop is worth 5-10 games a year, and this was one of them.

99% of Red Sox nation feels the same. Just let Lowrie play from now on.

I'd rather see my long-dead grandmother (God rest her soul) playing SS for Boston than Luso. She never throws it into the stands.
<< <i>Red Sox are better with Crisp AND Ellsbury. I hope the team can balance the egos and keep them both. >>
I think what it will come down to is Theo's decision in July concerning this: Do the Sox have everything they need to win the WS? If he thinks no, then Coco is the number one attraction. Too bad he can't throw in Luso too.
She is FREAKIN' STUNNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And YES she could squeeze right in between my Perkies and join the club
That was a great relay through to cut down the runner at the plate. Aside from a sliding triple, is there anything more exciting in baseball than a play at the plate?
Okay, that one was all on Papelbon. It's still too early in the season to be totally gut-wrenching, but it certainly is not a good thing to watch your lock-down closer blow two in a row.
I was surprised Wake was so bad tonight. He's usually much better in Minnesota . . . before today he was 7-3 with a 3.95 ERA in the Metrodome. Oh well. We almost pulled it off against Nathan. Let's get 'em tomorrow.
As soon as I saw him come in I switched to Survivor. I just couldn't watch the oncoming results. He gives up too many late inning runs and needs to be thrown under the nearest bus.
Of course, had Manny just gotten a single we'd have tied the game, but still...Mr. Loozer added the final nail. God, I'll be so glad when that clown is GONE. He is the resident Eric Gagme.

Well, Mike Timlin is far from a loser. He has had a great major league career. He has given many important innings to the Red Sox over that excellent career. He has been a voice of reason and a great help to all the young relievers the Sox have called up. He and Wakefield have been two of the steady influences on the team for quite a while.
I really appreciate all that he's done for the team. I do believe that he has lost some of his form, but he deserves the respect to try and gain it back before Boston makes any decisions about his future. It may appear that he does not have it anymore, but heck, CC Sabathia and many other pitchers are having rough starts.
I'm sure this will sound offensive, and I apologize up front, and will apologize again if needed, but your words about Timlin were very rude in my book. "thrown under the nearest bus"......"I'll be so glad when that clown is GONE"......"Loser". Let me ask you, how many world series rings do you have ? Do you have world series rings from two different clubs ? Have you ever played in the major leagues ? Do you have a bank account the size of Brookline ?

Youk with another bomb too!
Guess who has the highest batting average in the Sox starting lineup after tonight's game?
Coco Crisp, .315

What did Meatloaf say ? "2 out of 3 ain't bad"
Well, 3 out of 4 ain't bad either.
I think when other teams visit Fenway, they should be greeted by the Pink Floyd song.....

Luso makes Rentawreck look like a good SS
I went to talk to my neighbor for a little while and it was 4-2 Minnesota. Nice to come back to a 6-5 lead.
On the other bright note of the evening Todd Jones tried really hard to blow the game for the Tigers, but held on to beat the Yankees!
