Wow! Just watching the Yankees pregame. Chamberlain throws 100+ with control!? Yikes! This kid is exactly where he needs to be! Sad to see Miguel Cairo optioned. I love the heart he has when he plays. If Betemit sucks, Im sure we will see Cairo back because he can play all the infield positions effectively.
just saw the bench giving damon a little grief and him tipping his helmet to them after that first inning flare, its amazing how loose the dugout is when you are winning, keep up the good work!!!!
A pitcher with the WOEFUL credentials he has is not the man to take on the A-Rod pop up situation. How many times do the Jays think they can throw at A-Rod before the score is even? What a joke ...... the anvil has swung in the Yanks direction. Look out for CHIN MUSIC.
gem mint you are right. Yesterday the Jays FINALLY threw at A-Rod. Looooooong after the fact and after big time opportunities. So now they want to KEEP throwing at him? BUSH .... and now they look like idiots. No wonder they have so much talent and so few wins What a bunch of sissy marys. They won't dare do that in Yankee Stadium but back in that dungeon of a ball park in Toronto suddenly they have BALLS? No ....... Bums they all are.
And Matt Stairs looks like is carrying some huge torch with him RETIRE ya washed up BUM already will ya?
So Roger beans Rios in the back after 6 2 hit innings and then tells off the home plate ump after he gets tossed ..... and the wuss Jays don't move an inch

sorry stown, but there is nothing to be proud of, they got their payback the game before by hitting him (in the leg/thigh which is TOTALLY bush league) and they didn't have the stones to do it the FIRST time they faced him, so +2 for bush league. Then they hit him again in the knee last night - thats even lower than bush league, thats farm league antics. Having said that, he still deserved to get plunked; although it should have been done in the last meeting. And in the same context, if he tried to pull an "I got it" 30 - 50 years ago against say Bob Gibson, Koufax, etc, he would get plunked every time he stepped up to the plate.

I stand by my comments whether NY is doing well or not. Time and time again he makes a fool out of himself, the guy is the highest paid player in the game yet at times he looks like some career minor leaguer with his foolish antics. Maybe he needs another dose of V-Tek again.

I the Yankees win tonight it will be a major story .... since they have the night off Not to mention it will take a Seattle loss also tonight for the Yanks to be tied!
I don't want to get TOO excited but Hughes and Chamberlain combining on 8 innings pitched and 10 K's was really nice to see especially against a team we are chasing.
Next up because of the Clemens suspension? Ian Kennedy anybody?
