When they were up 17-6 and the Bulldog defender slammed the QB down and punched his head and it wasn’t called.
A horse-s%# PI call on a tipped pass that would’ve been turnover on downs.
It’s hard to win games when it was one after another.
There were also two plays in a row when Georgia punched it in before overtime there was holding on the offensive line and it wasn’t called.
Great game but truly disappointing to see such occurrences.
no way this Ohio St team i'm watching is running the table to a chip
their QB is doing his best to help Michigan win, their kicker looks like he's never kicked a football before in his life, and whoever is calling the plays on offense must be a hit at parties
I am sure Stan will whine pathetically about it being a rivalry game, about officiating, about tryptophan impacting those poor OSU players because they were playing at home and had too many Thanksgiving leftovers on Friday night, or some other excuse. He will probably mention Michigan was the national champion last year to minimize how bad this defeat was for OSU. They were over a 3 touchdown favorite at home and laid an egg, even after two gift interceptions from the Michigan QB in the 2nd half.
The playoffs should be really interesting. Hopefully, they seed teams to minimize the number of intra-conference games so we can see how the SEC and B10 schools do against each other.
Personally, I think Penn St & Indiana are overrated this season and benefitted from super soft scheduling but I don't think any of the SEC teams have really stood out either. Texas has had a Charmin schedule so far, Georgia has played awful for long stretches is several games they won, and the rest of the SEC's top teams have beaten up on each other and/or had horrible let-down games.
Despite poking fun at Stan's nonsensical homer-ism, I actually think most of the teams that make it to the playoffs have a shot at winning it all. No truly dominant teams or conferences this year. If Basebal is right, every SEC team will make it to the 2nd round games, if Stan is correct every B10 team will make it to the 2nd round games. For once, the games will truly end up being decided on the field.
20 million plus in the transfer portal to lose to a bad Michigan team that doesnt have a QB and had their best corner and best TE not play but somehow the SEC is the conference that doesnt look like they have playofff teams lol.
Just go ahead and give Oregon the B!G championship al;ready. I have little interest in watching Oregon beat PSU or Indiana
I think fergie said it. OSU taking a dump against a middling Michigan team doesn’t make the SEC better than they are this year. It’s not zero sum. Same both ways.
If I had to bet $100k on that game I would have taken OSU 100 times out of 100. It’s unbelievable even if there’s always a chance.

I had Ohio State to win in a $5 parlay lol even a degenerate like myself knows better than to invest on rivalry game day.
If Southern Cal loses to ND and A&M beats Texas its going to be absolute chaos. Theres a massive Ole Miss South Carolina problem right now. South Carolina just beat Clemson but Ole Miss dominated South Carolina. If Southern Cal can beat ND that should open a spot up and fix the problem.
Weve got some wild scenarios possible at the moment

Really wouldnt matter. Oregon is locked into the B!G championship and the playoffs. PSU is the other team when the clock runs out on Maryland. Its really a meaningless game for both teams so its not that crazy even though Oregon is the better team by far
I’ve been quiet today, waiting for the PSU game to wrap…
Say what you will about the top 4 in the Big 10, but until today’s OSU loss none of those teams lost to teams that were clearly worse than them. Can’t say that about the top teams in the SEC (ETA - except TX), ACC, and several other conferences. Oregon, OSU, and PSU have all consistently beaten teams that are better than Kentucky, Vanderbilt, USC (Southern Cal for Basebal’s benefit), Syracuse, and Oklahoma. Win the games in front of you and don’t leave it up to interpretation. I’m not predicting anything about results in the playoff with those statements - there are multiple SEC teams that would beat Penn State handily - but just take care of business on the field and your supporters don’t have to argue on the message boards
Saw the USC-ND game was 7 pts and USC was driving with 4 min left… said “I’ll probably jinx USC if I flip it on” but I did anyway. Literal first play I saw was the pick 6 from USC to essentially end the game (the one from the 1 yd line, not the later one from the end zone ).
Could you imagine the chaos this year if the 12 team playoff started NEXT year instead of this year?
Can we stop pretending Miami belongs in the playoffs? Sure Ward will be a top 5 pick but their defense is just awful and they really should have been a 4 loss team that took a lot of luck not to be.
Not only can Clemson get in the playoffs now but they would get a bye if they beat SMU
what Texas is doing is very impressive. i've been to a game at Kyle Field and it is sheer pandemonium. they don't call it the 12th man for nothing. but UT is flexing on the Aggies right now and showing the world that they're going to be a very tough out come playoffs time.

I almost think A%M is cursed from the milk men being so weird for their football team but Texas is definitely legit. LSU and Kyle Field are the two loudest craziest places for night games when the teams are good

Add kicker to the list of needs to address in the portal.
He missed an easy 42-yarder against Oregon (that would have been the margin of the game) and kicked three consecutive kickoffs out of bounds.
Last season, he missed 40-something yarders against Michigan, Missouri, and Penn State in a one-score game.
Bottom line is that this kid simply cannot kick under pressure. Any hint of adversity and he crumples like a rag. I don't blame the kid because I'm sure he wishes he didn't have the yips, but if you don't have the mental toughness, you shouldn't be starting for Ohio State.
That was crazy how he was acting when it happened at least 5 times yesterday. Ohio police need to chill a bit too, dont really need to start pepper spraying people that are punching each other with helmets on.
The funny part is Ohio State showed the most fight of the day to stop the flag being planted

It should have never mattered. Michigan isnt a good team and has the worst QB and QB room in all of the power conferences, some of the G% too. Then an average at best Michigan team was missing their TE and best corner. The kicker wasnt the problem. The game never should have never relied on kicking a couple FGs as 3 TD favorites at home against a team that their only offense it to run it up the middle

Well it did matter though in a close game. Two field goals is 6 points. Nothing surprises me in rival games.

Obviously it mattered for the final score, but it shouldnt have. A team that cannot move the ball through the air was able to run the ball down their throats to get some points. On the other side 2 of the better WRs in the country and Howard cant get them the ball? Howard was never the right decision in the portal but it never should have relied on the kicker to win that game
Texas went to Ann Arbor and the game was never in jeopardy. Its a lot more than just a shaky kicker that lost that game for the 4th year in a row.
My CFP bracket projection:
1. Big 10 winner, bye into Rose Bowl.
2. SEC winner, bye into Sugar Bowl.
3,4. ACC/MWC/Big12 winners. Only 2 get these seeds and the bye, the third will be the '5th conference champ'.
5,6,7. Big 10 loser/SEC loser/Notre Dame.
8,9. Tennessee vs Ohio State.
10,11,12. 5th conference champ and last 2 at-large bids. (Indiana, Alabama?)

has to be one of the worst losses in Ohio St history
