Yes close game. Was tied in the 4th quarter. Ole Miss outgained them 403 to 317.

Speaking of Judkins, he is awesome in NCAA video game, he doesn't get a lot of carries this season, I thought he was a potential Heisman candidate preseason?

Basebal guy is rarely correct with his stats.
Wisconsin beat Auburn in 2015, and beat LSU in 2016.
All three meetings with LSU were decided by 4 points or less.

You mean rarely incorrect. Wisconsin is 2-6 and the BIG as a whole is even worse

plus Howard is probably the best QB playing. Probably #1NFL draft pick.

While OSU is talented, Howard isnt remotely close to the best QB and theres a 0 percent chance hes the #1 pick. Hes not even a top 10 QB or a first rounder. Hes McCord 2.0 and even being drafted in the 2nd round would be shocking. Realistically hes not going to get drafted and if he does for some reason it will be at the end.

Howard currently has the 4th best QBR in the country. McCord is 32nd. But nice try.

They already had a good RB and he was a waste of money doubling up on something they didnt need. Really cant blame him for taking the money with how RBs are viewed now, but was a weird move on OSUs part to spend so much on him when they already had Henderson

Badgers also beat Arkansas in 2007 so unless “since 2007” has changed meaning there were 3 wins that immediately came to mind. But the pain from that LSU bowl game they gave away (34-31 I think the score was) was fresh again.

But it’s also just so trite.

Since 2007? Why? Because they were 2-0 in 2005-2006 against the SEC?

Does any of this speak to the team today? No. They’ve been terrible. I live in the real world - not some fantasy land in my head. I know they’re not very good as a program currently.

Paying homage to me in his signature is perhaps the sweetest thing he could do.

He wont. He wont even be a top 4 or 5 QB drafted this year. If someone takes him in the first round he should be fired on the spot. Ewers. Sanders, Dart, Ward. Nussmeier, Milroe will all go ahead of him. Allar, Beck and Moss probably will as well. Theres a better chance Howard goes undrafted than there is that he goes in the first round

Yes and no. The two headed RB room yea thats a nice luxury for sure, but it was a lot of money for something they really didnt need and maybe saving that money they could have upped their offer and gotten Ward instead of Howard

Lane Kiffin stated that SEC coaches dont want to qualify for the SEC championship game anymore. So he's basically saying certain SEC teams could throw away games.

I don’t think he’s suggesting throwing games - the teams on the verge of the playoff largely have 2 losses already, so a 3rd loss essentially dooms their playoff chances. Would TX throw a game to get a second loss and hopefully be leap frogged by AL, GA, or whoever? I don’t see it. I think he’s just saying that they might be rooting for scenarios where tie breakers don’t work in their favor… lots of 2 loss teams in the SEC so there are a bunch of possibilities depending on the tiebreakers.

I mentioned this complication previously with any league championship… if you’ve already got 2 losses, your best bet may be to hope to NOT make it - a 3rd loss probably knocks you out, while sitting on your couch with 2 losses may keep you in the playoff. Not sure how the committee can remedy this - should the potentially second best team in a league be punished while the 3rd, 4th, and even 5th best teams in the league don’t play that 13th game but slide into the playoff with their 2 losses?

Or look at the Big 10… The championship game could be 12-0 Oregon vs. 11-1 OSU. If OSU loses to them a second time, they could be seeded behind an 11-1 PSU even though the OSU resume is far better.

Far better is a stretch. The only real difference is OSU played Oregon and PSU still hasnt played anyone other then the head to head match up with OSU

Sankey who is the most powerful commissioner will make sure the loser of the SEC title game makes the playoffs. It would be shocking and likely cause some of the committee members to be fired if a team was punished for being in the conference championship, all that would do is tell conferences to get rid of that game

No ones going to tank, no ones suggesting to tank, and no players would throw the game anyways. People would end up in jail. All Kiffen did was express the concern that coaches have that they could be penalized for being in the game, which is a valid concern with how the committee has been voting so far.

Wouldnt really call that a whale. Commitments and transfers aside, he de--committed from Southern Cal because of a 5 star in Longstreet and Lewis wasnt going to see the field. It was smart for him to leave but it was a;lso not really his choice if he wanted to play

then i guess the only whale is Bryce Underwood, seeing as he's the only player ranked ahead of Lewis. or let me guess, he's a minnow too?

but you know what, after doing some investigating, you're right. it was very difficult trying to locate a school who wanted this kid

I thought Longstreet flipped to USC after Lewis de-committed. I just gave it a goog' and this is what ESPN says.

Lewis officially decommitted from the Trojans on Sunday, per ESPN. The decision was "expected," and Lewis recently visited Georgia during the Bulldogs' matchup against Tennessee.

Lewis verbally committed to USC in August 2023, but since then, "questions had swirled over his recruitment," the ESPN story said. As Lewis officially changed his decision to join the Trojans, another quarterback in his class, Husan Longstreet, flipped his commitment from Texas A&M to USC.

Its not about who wanted him its who would pay him and give him a shot to play right away. The commitments are kind of what they are since nothing is ever in stone and they can leave after the spring anyways. Southern Cal and Riley didnt think enough of him to not try and flip Longstreet from A&M. Not every class is great at any given position.

I dont blame him one bit for switching, thats the best thing he could do for his career going somewhere he cant start right away instead of staying somewhere he would be riding the bench thats in the same class as him. Hes trying to get some players to come with him but Colorados best skill position players will be leaving at the end of this year. Several of the big boys already have QBs in line for next year and Michigan who doesnt have one had offered over 10 million to get Underwood and just flipped him.

Until things are signed the players can commit and de-commit as much as they want

When OSU and Missou played OSU had 1 sit out. Mizzou was missing their three best defensive players. There was nothing third string about the team OSU put on the field

As far as Ole Miss they one of if not the best defenses in the country. Their O line has been shaky but there isnt a team in the country that they couldnt beat. Every team is scared of them and that d line. The SEC is just simply loaded with about 6 to 8 teams of elite talent.

And yes Ole Miss is currently in the top 10

Didn’t their backup QB who had to start because McCord transferred also get hurt pretty early?

Yes they had to play their 3rd stringer who had virtually no experience.

Kentgucky statrted their emgerny against Ioqa which you said didnt matter.

Wisconsin 2-6 against the SEC since 2007
