Ditto, BGR. I’m not going to claim the my B1G is better top to bottom than Basebal’s SEC. I’m simply calling out how foolish Basebal looks consistently making excuses every time a top SEC team loses. And then criticizing anyone else who makes the same type of claims for another conference’s losses.

I’m done - it’s pointless (I think I’ve made that claim before about Basebal).

It is pointless when making claims like your B!G or my SEC. I dont have a bias, I let the talent and teams on the field speak for themselves. Giving an analysis of a game and/or team isnt making excuses its talking college football

Alabama should move Milroe to RB. He led the game in rushing today with 185 yrds. Almost as many yrds as Ashton Jeanty had today.

Bama being fine with Milroe as their QB has been weird for the whole time. He misses open guys down field for easy TDs all the time and then makes a run to bail them out of a situation he put them in most of the time.

Dawgs looked awful. Slop game, slop play calling, slop QB, slop receivers, slop coverage....run the damn ball.

    Lambos don't make passes.

Hes their best option on the roster so I wouldnt make a change at this point. Im just surprised that it got to where hes the best option and that they werent aggressive with recruiting someone to transfer before the season started. Even with Deboer who made Pennix look much better than he is the passing stats just really arent there with Milroe. He probably owes Williams alone 5 or 6 TDs where hes over thrown him line drives when Williams is wide open behind the defense

I get that they rank largely based on record and I’m a PSU / B1G guy (in State College right now, in fact, for an official campus tour for my daughter tomorrow), but Alabama and Ole Miss (and Georgia and Tennessee) beat both Indiana and Penn State 8 out of 10 times (and maybe beat Indiana 9+ out of 10 times).

Alabama couldnt beat Vanderbilt. We still dont know how good Indiana is because they havnt played any ranked teams. Alabama looked good yesterday against a poor defense. LSU defense is ranked #69 in the country.

I think Tennessee has trouble scoring against some marginal D's, Georgia doesn't have a marginal D but they got the interception machine Beck which isn't great

Tough call but I'd take the points if I were betting it

Yeah maybe I should stay away from taking Tennessee outright in a college parlay. Georgia will probably come back strong after getting beat by ole miss.

Those type of games can annihilate a very nicely put together parlay

    I'd just enjoy the game

Tennessees defense is elite, their offense hasnt been what was expect. Nico is in concussion protocol, while hes practicing he still hasnt been cleared to play. Theyre going to be in a bad spot if they have to play Moore whose been a career 3rd string QB until this year.

This will be the 5th game this year Georgia has played a team ranked in the top 10 when they played them and the first time its a home game for them. Their defense isnt the 2021 defense but its still one of the best that has been put in a bad spot by the offenses of top notch teams far to many times.

Tennessees defense is going to have to come up big for them to win especially if Nico isnt playing

The baseball stadium games are so dumb. The fields barely fit. The funniest was when they could only play 1 direction at Wrigley because the endzones wouldnt fit. Even with the dugouts removed there is 0 room out of the back of the endzones. One of these years someones going to get hurt slamming into the walls

I think they're cool. I like the old stadiums, and you can get better seats. I hate paying $300 for a nose bleed at Ohio Stadium.

Theyd be cool if there was actually enough room for the field and the back of the endzone line wasnt touching the wall. You have to shorten your playbook and change some play calls or youre going to run your wr right into a wall. Wrigley is especially bad since the out field wall is unpadded brick under the ivy. Id rather see them get rid of one of the end zones and just play one way so guys actually have room to stop

I think Tennessee will top Georgia. Although the game is at home and most important for GA, with Nico back and a chance for Tennessee to move up in the rankings I think it might not be as close as many think. GA is toast with a loss.

Its great weather here, I live about 35 miles from Athens, so the conditions are ideal. We shall see.

Not this week and thats a good thing. Would have been a disaster if they won the SEC. Too bad Lagway didnt start all year for FL

    Oregon looked like trash

Louisville found a way to snatch defeat from the Jaws of victory

Someones going to get fired behind the scenes for Mizzou lying about their injury reports with Cook

Beck finally played like he was supposed to be playing all year

That chop block call was pretty big. Oregon played like two distinct teams in that game. Gabriel especially.

The Ducks didnt look great on offense, but you have to give them some credit. We are in November, and its hard to remain undefeated at this point. They will still be #1 when the rankings come out on Tuesday.

Its not that hard to be undefeated when Ohio State is the only real game on the schedule. Softest number 1 schedule of all time

Because they got rid of the divisions. Any other year, Indiana had Penn State, Ohio State, and Michigan on their schedule. Its also not their fault that Michigan, Washington, and UCLA are all down this year.

If Indiana loses to Ohio State and beats Purdue the following week, they will finish the regular season with one loss, and will be in the playoffs.

Any other year Indiana didnt matter. Indiana isnt that good either theyve played no one, and Michigan fell off a cliff. If Indiana makes the playoffs with a loss to Ohio State the committee is a joke. Theres no argument for Indiana over actually elite teams that played each other multiple times

Thankfully BYU lost to Kansas so the Big 12 will be a 1 team playoff team now

Sometimes it's harder to stay focused against subpar teams. That's where the upsets happen.
