Sure looks like it. San Fran up 14-3 and having no problems with Seattle so far.

The Lions had there chances and couldn't convert 4th downs. The Dallas defense just overwhelmed Washington and it looks like the 49ers can score at will against Seattle. Can't wait for Sunday.

man what a bunch of stinker games today! at least there was turkey!

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

And Seattle falls to 6-5 with a tough schedule ahead --- at Dallas, at San Francisco and then home against the Eagles!! WOW. It could be a few weeks before they win again and by then the season will be over. They finish at Tennessee, home with Pittsburgh and in Arizona.

It's gotta be hard being a Seahawk fan right now.

And it's quiet at the PCGS sports forum as it seems a hush has fallen over the room. I envision all the regulars sleeping in their favorite chair with an alarm set for precisely 2:55. That's enough time to get the TV warmed up, the sleep rubbed from your eyes and a cold beverage in your hand.

Go Dolphins, I'm excited to be able to watch Tyreek Hill. :p

I just wonder how Seahawks fans realistically liked their chances with Geno Smith though, I feel they tempered their expectations

Not hating on Smith but raise your hand if you were surprised he was still in the league last year when he was playing so well

Damn. 2 weeks ago I put $50 on a Jets defensive TD at +700! Forgot to do it again.
Oh typical Jets missed the extra point. Lol

Typical Jets. You can’t make this stuff up. 100 yards interception return on a Hail Mary

I think I've seen parts of 2-3 Jets games this season and the question I'm left with is "How'd they win four games?" Having suffered through losing for about 20 years as a Cleveland Browns fan it's hard to watch but easy to feel for the Jets faithful. It is almost incomprehensible to think that at one time Cleveland lost 17 games, won a game, then lost 17 more games!!

That's a stretch of 1-34. Believe me, you gotta be tough to be a Browns fan!! :p It also explains why we sympathize with other teams when the sledding gets tough and are so excited to be 7-3.

Unnecessary roughness against a Referee!!! :# Never saw that before.

  • perkdogperkdog Posts: 30,856 ✭✭✭✭✭

Jets season ended when Rodgers went down, I highly doubt he will even think about coming back this season if there was a chance, it's too bad because I really think they would have had a real chance to have won the division

  • MaywoodMaywood Posts: 2,201 ✭✭✭✭✭

They've showed Rodgers a few times on the sideline and it looks like he's really bothered by the way things are going.

  • 2dueces2dueces Posts: 6,491 ✭✭✭✭✭

Sorry Jets fans. Rodgers wouldn’t have made a difference with this offense. He would have gotten killed

It's bizarre that the Jets dont utilize Dalvin Cook.

I'm obviously not a Jets fan but Rodgers would have had these guys fighting for the division, no question in my mind

The Jets have the worst offense in the league. How did the Eagles lose to them?

It looked like the Jets have given up on the season already.

Then this shouldn't be too surprising ............

The Cleveland Browns will be without Pro Bowl cornerback Denzel Ward on Sunday against Denver because of a shoulder injury.

Different game. Far more QB protection now than early in Toms career. More protection for receivers today. Apples and oranges can never be compared.

Tom Brady wasn't an elite QB stat wise until the 2007 season, Manning was the better QB until then

No matter the talk about QB’s. Until another wins 7 rings stats mean diddy squat.

Brady's stats in his 2nd decade were better than his first. I doubt that Mahomes production will fall off as he gets older but he still has a long way to go to just break even with Brady.

Another stat to consider in a Brady/Mahomes debate...Tom Brady was 2-0 vs Mahomes in the playoffs,he beat him in the (NE) AFCCG and the (TB) Super Bowl. IMO,Mahomes needs to surpass (not equal) Brady's ring total & career stats to be considered the GOAT.

    ^^^^^^ this.

@EricTheRed has it. 7 SB's for Patty will not tie Tommy. he will need 8

as far as those stat comparisons, it was a very very different game.

Why is that a winning argument for Brady vs. Mahomes but not for Graham vs. Brady??

I never said you cant use that comparison for Graham vs Brady. Go ahead. I have long been a proponent for Otto as an elite top tier HOFer.

All football is boring to me this year, I have not watched more than 10 minutes all year long and can hardly wait for it to be over. I used to watch games all season but no more.

Every game from here on out is a playoff game for the Bills. Let’s see if the Bills of the last 3 years are up to the challenge. As been the case all year injuries again will effect the defense as 2 DB’s fail concussion protocol but Johnson cleared so that’s something

Zappe is playing slightly better than Mac. but that is not saying much. mostly short screen passes.

I am beginning to view the Tampa Bay Bucks the same way as @doubledragon does the Carolina Panthers. Frustration. They have chances to make the play-offs because they are in a weak division. The team that wins will have the worst won - loss record and will be “one and out.” Still ….

Uh Oh - so far the Browns are kicking field goals while Denver is scoring touchdowns.

    Sorry, Bills fans.

Unless you reverse course and make the playoffs and do well, I would imagine you will have a new HC next season. And I imagine McDermott will coach again. Just the way it goes.

Will these NFL coaches ever learn to stop going to that "prevent defense" during the last offensive drive with the game on the line?

What a super exciting MNF game last night. Edge of the seat, off the charts scoring and superb QB play. When I looked up I couldn’t believe the score was only 12-10. Amazing product for the viewers.

    Oh wonderful: :#

"DALLAS -- Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller turned himself in to police in a Dallas suburb on Thursday after he was charged in a warrant with domestic violence against the mother of his children, who is pregnant, police said. Dallas police confirmed that the 34-year-old Miller surrendered to police in the suburb of Glenn Heights to face a charge of third-degree felony assault of a pregnant woman, which is punishable by 2 to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Miller was released from the DeSoto Regional Jail after posting bail in the amount of $5,000 on Thursday night, according to a DeSoto Police report obtained by NFL Media.
The alleged assault occurred on Wednesday, according to a police affidavit in which officers wrote that Miller twice put his hands on the neck of the woman, pulled out a chunk of her hair and threw her onto a couch. The woman was treated for minor injuries, including bruising on her neck, police said."
