    I haven't followed Buffalo too much this year but when I saw their record was 5-4 I was a bit surprised.

    A ton of season ending injuries on defense and an offense that just doesn’t look right

    sometimes it isnt the best team who wins, it is the healthiest team who wins. the season enders on defense have really hurt the team

    George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

    QB stats about 1/2 way through the season, looks Purdy darn good to me............ And the rookies have taken Stroud.....

    Young, #1 draft pick last year? 2nd to last. Mayfield? middle of the pack, about the best he can ever do, LOL. Niners look like the best team right now, and the Tejanos are on their way up.

    Team only meeting earlier in the week in the Bills locker room. They know this is a must win tonight. I’m not discounting that the Bills are at home, fired up and have 3 winnable games ahead. I’m all in tonight at -7.

    just read where he reached a top speed of 20.17 mph on this play. love him or hate him, think he sucks or he doesn't, but making a play like this (which eventually led to a W) is pretty special when you take into consideration that he shred his ACL less than a year ago. i can think of one other QB who could have pulled this off

    I am rooting for Buffalo tonight. I love watching Josh Allen. Most entertaining QB in Football

    If Murray can be back, with the same type of athleticism, he should be able to win some games.

    Teams trade places as “the best team in the league” … San Francisco, Baltimore and maybe the Eagles.

    The overrated team might be Buffalo. Look at them tonight, down 15 to 8 to Denver in a home game.

    Denver doesn't feel like a team that can put a lot of points up. And they didn't have to. Wild ending. Too many men on the field. Missed FG. Try again. LOL

  • galaxy27galaxy27 Posts: 7,801 ✭✭✭✭✭

    Russell Wilson has quietly had a very efficient season

    played a great game tonight

    he totally outplayed Josh Allen who, and I'll say this again, no longer looks like the same quarterback

    The Bills really needed this win. Turning it over four times meant that a win would have been ugly, but they almost had it. Points matter. one, two. Kicking game is so crucial. And special teams...12 men o the field. Wow...and he missed the kick.

    If you are a Bills fan, you might be thinking you didn't deserve the win, and that your team made so many mistakes all night that you can't just blame it on the 12 men thing. But that was your chance. He missed the kick. Wow.

    I'm wondering if that "team meeting" Buffalo had this week wasn't really just a "pizza and beer" party in disguise? B)

    Buffalo is 5-5 and on the outside looking in, with a doozy of a schedule ahead of them

    @Philly
    @KC
    Dallas
    @LAC
    @Miami

    showstopper i think you had them going to the Super Bowl. i'll give you a mulligan since they aren't even going to make the playoffs lol

    At least in the AFC, it felt appropriate to say that the Bills and the Chiefs had the best chance. And I kind of thought the Bills could put it together and get there. I still like Allen as a QB. But the Bills obviously have some issues. The injuries, particularly on defense, obviously hurt them. But that wasn't the story tonight.

    The AFC East is up for grabs for seemingly the first time in over 20 years (as of a few years ago). It's the Bills time to get it done.

    You never know how the season plays out. They might win out and make the playoffs, etc. But if they don't finish this year the right way, you could expect a HCing change.

    The Bills culture, and the expectations, have reversed. In the larger scheme of things towards a winning culture. And in the now towards a team that looks busted. But overall McDermott seems to have laid the groundwork for the team to expect to win. Maybe it's time for a new voice, a new message.

    I'm not going to dig into their post game stuff, but I'm curious to hear the tone and words coming from McDermott, Allen, etc.

    They are at a crucial point.

    If you get a flat tire, you don't stab the other three.

    They have the chance to move on, or stall. They might have to accept the fact that this season might be a bust, and just play to build momentum, etc for next year.

    I know Buffalo had to score when they could,to go ahead. But leaving too much time on the clock at the end for Denver was the difference at the end. You have to wonder if Denver kind of let Buffalo score quickly so they could get the ball back with adequate time left. Denver could not allow Buffalo a time consuming,extended TD drive eating up the clock.

    what a crazy game last night. I have never seen an ending like that in almost 40 years of watching. To have 12 men in that situation is inexcusable. Buffalo should have had that game. now it looks like they may not make the playoffs after i took a look at that schedule.

    George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

    I am shocked by the comeback Russell Wilson has made this season. He was just putrid last year. He is having a low key very good season this year.

    George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

    Let's not kid ourselves, the Bills are in no way shape or form "Out of it" they are literally 1 game behind Miami and they can't beat any competent team, they just flex on crappy teams.

    Heck KC is "Only" 2 games up on the Raiders so it's still reasonably early for teams to get it together, it's a shame for Jets fans because if Rodgers was at QB the Jets would be in charge of the division I'm thinking

    The Bills fired their OC after last night and rightfully so.

    Speaking of OC's one thing I'm happy about is the incessant talk from every TV sports host saying "What about Erik Bienemy for a HC job" since he left KC he hasn't been mentioned, it's easy being HC material when your the OC for a loaded KC team

    But the OC does not throw the ball. :) But I can see why he had to go. Can't fire the QB with those big contracts.

    Seems he had a brace on his wrist when he got off the bus to enter the stadium. And definitely looks like his wrist is the problem.

    I never noticed Al Michaels has problems with words that start with the S sound. I heard him say a word before with an SH instead of an S and now I just heard him say AF-SHE instead of AFC. Anybody else notice?

    Guess I'm not crazy - he just said TWO WEEKSH instead of two weeks

    Line went from 3 to 4.5 after reporters saw the device. Shouldn’t something like that be on the injury report? I’d imagine there’s going to be an inquiry and hell to pay.

    It's BS is what it is, if Cincy didn't report it then I hope they lose a draft pick over it.

    Either way they are frauds and are done.

    I know I talked about the Bills, but I have also maintained that the Chiefs are really the cream of the crop until proven otherwise. They do appear to be that team which you would bet would make it at least to the AFC Championship game every year.

    Back in the "double dynasty days" (yes, I use that phrase a lot, hoping others will start too) the Patriots had a run of going to nine SBs, winning six. Thirteen years were AFCCG appearances. So a lot of those years, if you were given the option to pick the Patriots or the field to...go to the SB, win the SB, or at least go to the conference championship game, you would have. But it would have varied by year. The AFCCG almost always felt like a lock, the SB not as much.

    I feel as though the Chiefs are currently in a similar position. I would pick them to be one of the two teams in the conference championship this year, but might take the field in terms of appearing in the SB, and would definitely take the field in terms of winning it. That might change as the year progresses.

    The NFL.season is a fluid situation as we all know, but let's say the Chiefs stay healthy then sure they would be my front runner to make an appearance in the Super Bowl

    I stand by saying I would not want to face Denver if they keep trending in the right direction, Detroit is well capable as well
