The Eagles barely escaped from the Lions today 38-35.

Never trust Indy and Tennessee on opening day. Barkley looked like Barkley of old and congratulations to Daboll. Goes for 2 and wins his Giants debut

Patrick Mahomes threw for 360 yards, 0 to Tyreek Hill and 5 TD passes, 0 to Tyreek Hill. B)

Rumors of the Chiefs demise may have been greatly exaggerated.

In my opinion, Chiefs are pretty much still the team to beat. I put the Bucs second.

Yea, the guys on Fox were talking about how “deep” the Eagles are. If they have that much trouble with the “Lion Cubs”, don’t look for them to challenge the the rest of the division.

As bad as the Lions are they pretty much were the worst team to bet against last year, meaning they were right in it in nearly every game

Up 17 in the 4th. Game looked closer than it really was. Of course I had Philly. I bought the hype which I never do.

Never a doubt who was the driving force for the Chiefs. Mahomes is a generational talent. The AFC still goes through Kansas City because I’m.calling that second half against the Bengals a fluke.

I took it on the chin in classic NFL style, the pathetic Titans snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory against the Giants???

    Destroyed my 4 team parlay

Not much to talk about really.

They are going to suck this year. Like very little chance for a winning record let alone anything else. I'd like to see Mac Jones progress but it's going to be difficult with the pathetic offense built around him

That was one of the factors that pushed Brady out the door. He had no one to throw to. I remember one of the last touchdowns he three went to a tackle eligible guy. In other words to get open, he needed to throw to guy who was part of a gadget play.

I'm going to watch the Patriots vs Steelers game, I'm not watching the Panthers play today, as a matter of fact I'm not going to watch them play for the rest of the season, it's just too much. Someone tell me how they did after the season is over!

In the meantime the Tamp Bucks are having their usual sleepwalking game in New Orleans. : :(

If Brady had had to play all of his games against New Orleans, he would have the old style goat, not the new style GOAT. Brady freezes when he sees black and gold.

In the mean time, the Lions are up on the Washington What Ever They Ares 22 - 0.

Perhaps the Washington love affair with Carson Wentz will become a “wince.”

The Colts look like garbage against the Jaguars, they're down 17-0.

The Dolphins are getting spanked by the Ravens 28-7, this one's over.

I can't believe the Colts are losing 24-0 to the Jaguars, what the heck is going on with the Colts, you would think that with Matt Ryan and Jonathan Taylor they would be able to manage at least one freaking touchdown.

The Giants are headed for the Super Bowel, don’t you know. The network sports pundits and news people, who are all New York homers, are predicting it. The Panthers were just on more step to glory.

Well week 2 is done for Mayfield, and another Mayfield-esque, mediocre performance (yawn). No separated shoulder to have as an excuse so far this season. What was Panther brass thinking getting this guy? He was, is, and will be, over-rated and average, and too expensive. Need a truly great, legendary, uber talented team around him if the goal is to go far in the playoffs. Sorry DD............

First set of downs for Garoppolo was perfection:

C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT SACKS RTG

    Jimmy Garoppolo 4/4 70 17.5 1 0 0-0 158.3

But the question, is Mayfield better than “the three trash can” quarterback corp that @doubledragon showed us last year?

The ravens deserved to lose that game. They let Hill get behind the defense twice with a 21 point lead. I foresee two harbaughs in college next year. Just plain bad football. Terrible. Almost as bad as the Colts.
Look back on my predictions when I said Cincinnati won’t make the playoffs with a first place schedule. Through 2 1/2 quarters burrow has been sacked 6 times, 13 in 6 quarters. So much for the revamped OL.

Congratulations to Daboll. First time the Giants started 2-0 in 16 years. And the Jets put it on Cleveland. There will be a lot of people calling in to work in New York tomorrow and hopefully Tuesday in Buffalo

Should I say: "Looks like the Browns knew what they were doing afterall?" - and with that of course Baker will rattle off 8 in a row!
