I received coins back from our host yesterday and will spend time with them tonight, comparing them with others shown on Coinfacts and taking cell phone photos of them to post on the forums.
It's Saturday night and the old man is home on the 3-day weekend bored stiff. So, I figured I just post a coin to help me through the rest of the night.
Here's my 3 dollar piece that I like a lot. You can actually see the entire profile of the princess on the reverse from some hard clashing which I find interesting.
Here's my 1908-d half eagle I find attractive in it old green holder.
Thanks for looking,
Joe
The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
Another new member of the group. One on the examples I am admiring and studying this morning. Her previous stop, for almost 11 years, was as the set piece for what is currently a complete DM set. The previous owner offered her to me when he upgraded to an MS62.
This morning's coffee? Italian roast, strong, with a splash of half and half. What else?!!

I keep looking back at this and then looking it up- this is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve gone back to your post- I don’t own any territorial gold but would love to see more of yours- you should post a thread with your collection, why you chose what you did, and some history!
I was there. Infield , turn 1. Awesome !😎
Ran across the coin and jumped for joy as it was bought a few years back on eBay and I just last night realized that I had a little collection 😉🙀🦫
Thinking about this awesome Football medal by Victor David Brenner over some fine coffee:
One of my favorite pieces. I just love the design. The little guys really pop under magnification. It's quite high relief. Try and count them all. It's more difficult than you think

Been switching out my collection from random flips to proper safe flips and thought I’d share my new look and the on going Escudos coins.
Got my Joey coins cup. 😉🙀🦫

Different being the grade??
Looks like a choice 30 or better!
Right up my alley 😅
.
Yeah, different being the grade (and maybe the look I usually go after).
I agree with your take on grade (looks 30 to me), but she's actually in a VF25 holder, so splitting hairs. I've always appreciated the two-tone cameo contrast that some of these old workhorses display, and figured I might add a few dates that look like this if I can find them.

I really cant agree with you here... I realize that silver is a nonferrous metal, but I swear you have a magnet that attracts these steel grey and blue busties with rock solid, lively surfaces...🤔
Here is my new addition.

It has its own post, but since it’s Saturday morning coffee with coins…
I am sitting at a Saturday morning farmers’ market listening to a guitar player/singer with my iced tea (it’s too hot to drink coffee outside in Alabama) and chocolate croissant.

How about a peanut-butter infused cold brew latte from a local brewery, plus an incomplete set of blast white Peace Dollars?
