Since @metalmeister followed with an old fatty Commem', I'll throw this one out, since that caused me to go admire the picture of one of my favorites, which I bought almost 30 years ago now.
“We are only their care-takers,” he posed, “if we take good care of them, then centuries from now they may still be here … ”
Here is my new reality on A Saturday morning. Coffee, reference material, and an iPad….trying to find anything in my areas of collecting that is interesting, has eye appeal , and at a justifiable price(notice not a saying a good or fair price as I haven’t seen that for a while). So far today, a lot of looking, but haven’t found much.
Here are the two I choose to look at this morning with my coffee. The 21 Pilgrim is still raw and it’s been that way for about a decade in my collection. It has heavy die polishing lines which makes the luster boom.
I’ve owned this Buff for a very long time, many decades . It’s one of those coins that has the wow factor going for it pretty good with the color it displays . I love this type 1. I could never replace this coin. It’s definitely one of a kind.
Have a happy weekend
The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
Good eye Todd... it even has Lance Views.
X P35, at one point it was the only stabbed coin I had left and didn't want to sell it.
Cracked it out for the cabinet 😅
Also, gives you a pretty good idea how musserable my phone pics are... zoom in on it in the tray and it looks cloroxed 🥴
Not Saturday morning,........ but this Saturday evening I will be spending some time going through 85 non US coins dates from the 1700's to the early 1900's I picked up at a local show yesterday.
A couple of the coins look like they may date to the 14th or 15th century.
See photo of these coins.
Hobby fun for me tonight plus expanding my numismatic education.
It's great to have a WRNC Western Reserve Numismatic Club piece with stamps from 2 anniversaries!
.
I have to admit, I was shocked that it was still available when I first saw it. It had half a dozen watchers. I figured it wouldn't last long, the asking price was reasonable for what it is, so I made the seller an offer they couldn't refuse . . . . .
Brought a couple home to play with practice on my photography skills ... and even though I need to redo after I polich out a couple scratches, this one has my kinda coffee color
Italian Roast and some Half and Half

Do I see an 1814 single leaf there?
Nice group!
I still have a few hundred raw busties. It’s really nice seeing the surfaces without dealing with plastic.
A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.
A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.
This is a very good question!
The answer may very well be yes AND no!
There are two 1814 bust halves in the tray, both are obverse up...
I believe @BustDMs was referring to this one..
The other one is here.
Just for fun, this 1814 also lives in the cabinet.
I'll post the reverses after awhile, but these should be identifiable..
At first glance, I was thinking Chamomile tea..😂
Very sweet 33 though!
Completely awesome!
