@jayPem I would guess the first one is possibly a 105a (Single Leaf), second one is a 106a (Shattered Reverse) and the third is a 107a (Mouse on Nose)
Thanks for playing guess the reverse Todd, as you no doubt know, 105 and 106 both share obverse 5 which makes this a game of die states...
I'm not sure that 106 can be definitely eliminated from possible for the obverse I posted, unless the die clashes are always mushy on the 106a?
Anyhow, you are correct on that one!
As for the 105...
I say yes, it has the later die state obverse of the single leaf 105a IMO... the 105 has rather sharp stars amongst other tell tales, but where that line is drawn between 105 and 105a as far as the obverse goes, I'm not totally sure.
And, in the case of my coin, I may never know! Here's the reverse..
Coffee ✔️ This Saturday morning is not a show and tell. Dang it 🤨.
Inventory calls, just really need to record what I have so I’m not chasing unnecessary doubles 😂
Off to the office 😉🙀🦫
The toning on that piece reminds me of the Bass coin.
Probably because I know the underbidder on that piece too.
Although I think it was way overbid at the time.
I met her once, in Somalia a few months before she died. I have a 1995 100 Fr in PR69DCAM as well, but this was this first one I purchased and had graded.
I no longer own this one, but my mind is drifting back to it over a fine cup of Joe:
A strange piece, muling the City of New York reverse die (which is actually from Connecticut! 😆) with the iconic stag obverse die of J.L. Bode (a birdstuffer! 😆)
And for good measure it is a mirror image as it was struck as brockage.
Just a fascinating piece that I acquired from the great Q. David Bowers as he was selling off his vast treasure trove of Civil War Tokens.
It was in my Box of 20 for a brief period, but another collector wanted it just a little more. I have another J.L Bode token (struck over an 1861 Seated Liberty Quarter) in the "set" so I sacrificed this beauty.
Hope you are all enjoying the day.

@Floridafacelifter It's great how you just threw that proof out there - I saw it and had to do a double take "there's no way that's MS" and pulled it up on cert verification and sure enough, PR66CAM. Gorgeous!

My goodness! Can't hurt to see it again. That(out of memory which is weak at times) is one of, if not THE, most beautiful CBH coins I have ever viewed. You are a lucky man for that purchase. Thanks for sharing
