Is anyone getting these graded with the COA? How will this be done? Mine still processing. I would guess they would remain "First Strike" eligible if you don't open the package.
It could / should be the same as previous coin and COA. A call to CS - c o u l d - get the answer. This soon after shipping starts the answer may not have been made.
hoping to see some forum members get some low cert #s
They probably won't ship in number order. But then again, as the checked the COA they might have put them in order. Getting a low number would be nice. #1 might command a premium.
Does anyone else notice that the US Mayflower Silver Medal being sold/release by the Royal Mint has an edge marking or what they call "London hallmark of quality" markings. The US issue does not have any marking on the edge, am I correct? This will differentiate the two US Silver medal from US Mint and Royal mint.
Found this out today by MCM email offerings and verified from the Royal Mint website.

My silver set and RP are still processing since Nov 17th. so I have not seen these in person.
I think the silver medal has a smooth edge and the UK coin reeded. I can't find info on edge markings, so might need a link or something. Photo?
The UK version definitely has a hallmark on the edge. I don't have a US version to check.
I am still confused about edge markings. I have asked two different eBay people who have the UK set of two silver coins, and have been told they see no special symbols or numbers on the edge of the US medal in that set. Does anyone have an edge photo of the US Mint medal (the one was shipped in the 2 piece UK set)?

It's small, but it's there. It's not really visible unless you open the capsule. I would take a photo but I don't really want to handle it that much. There is a photo posted in the other thread someone started about these from MCM.

OK. I got a US set in today. No hallmark. So, for what it's worth, you can tell the difference between the UK set and US set Mayflower medal even out of the packaging.

Set Number (?) This could be a set number. When you get your set check the cards that come in the internal box, lower right corner.
I need to practice my photography more. My skills have faded in the past 20 years since I last was snapping daily.

Note the coin cert labels have no info referencing the COA, the COA is a "stand alone" certification. Seems kinda dumb to certify that the number printed on the COA is, well, printed on the COA. Seems like a wast of grading fee money.

The First Strike deadline was 12/17/2020 for all Mayflower coins and sets. That means that the silver 2 coin sets which finally came available again on 12/17/2020 (and haven't yet shipped) won't be eligible.

My silver set which was ordered and confirmed on 12/17 when a bunch of them came up was just canceled. Cant reach the Mint to find out why. I ordered immediately when they became available. Did this happen to anyone else who ordered on the 17th?

I hear u. I was really happy to get one. I ordered within minutes of they're coming available. Crazy that got cancelation email yet shows processing in my account.
Just got an email that my order needs attention. Only thing I can think it is is the 2020 mint set in it isn’t available, so they want to ask if I want the rest of my stuff.
Not sure how that can be, it was available for a long time that morning. I’ll call soon to find out.
I got contact customer service email order will be canceled in 48 hours if no contact they can’t fill the order at this time. Over 15 minute wait on the phone, they can keep it

Ebay "seller" zzhawww25 just cancelled my silver set order that I paid $200 for weeks ago. Obviously wanted more. Neg FB left. One to avoid and block.
The 64 thousand $$$$$ questions is: keep the set sealed or opened.
I have not kept any Mint items sealed. False alarm delivery yesterday. Didn't happen.
How long have Mint returns been taking?
I sent a gold set back. It arrived there on Dec 3. Not even an email from the Mint yet.
I suspect it will be a while.
I called the mint about my return as it had been 2 weeks and no world from them.
They told me all incoming packages are put in quarantine for two weeks before they touch them and then they are processed on a FIFO basis.
May take awhile,,,,
My typo'ed order was "delivery exception" return to sender. On Nov 16th. Mint "received/allow 3-5 days for refund" on Dec 13th. Refund posted Dec 16th
Order was Maryland/DC.
(l8-)>>
Two weeks??? Absolutely absurd. ZERO science behind that. Propestorus
I think that was one of those initial speculations/recommendations back in March. They apparently haven't updated their procedures since.
royal mint let me know that my silver mayflower set shipped today - should arrive just before christmas 🎉
My set is "Out For Delivery"
They are from the Government and they are here to help.
Pic's Please!!!

I'd get clarification from CS since the two coin set didn't ship at the same time as the singles.

I got the cancelation email yet it still says processing in my account.
Its impossible to get a rep now. Just busy. Guessing a lot of cancelation emails went out.
I also returned a gold set which they received on 12/3. I've not even received an email that they received it yet much less a refund.
Ugh
nightmare dude - sorry to hear abt this
I hear u. I was really happy to get one. I ordered within minutes of they're coming available. Crazy that got cancelation email yet shows processing in my account.
Got email saying that all of my orders since December 10th have been canceled, 6 total orders.
They still show processing though.
What's the excuse this time?
omfgWHAT?! ... 😑

This explains why the Mint phones are busy. Ufb.
Would be awesome if the emails are in error as the orders say processing. Hope someone can get thru to find out.
