Nice looking coins/medals.....Not interested, but nice to see some art incorporated. Cheers, RickO
I'm going to ban myself on these, save the Mint the trouble.
British coin ok IMO, but as usual I don't care that much for the US version. Could be wrong, but I doubt the Mayflower was welcomed in the manner portrayed... oh look.... we have company! Get the fire going and let's cook up some food! Yes daughter/son... maybe there are some children you can play with!
Perhaps it is just me... I now seem to see too much PC in nearly everything put out by the US Mint. But... if it's what people want... then ok with me. Am I interested in purchasing? Don't know at this point.
The price point is ludicrous.
The silver one from the US isn't even a silver dollar!

I like the Brit coin, not too excited by the US medal.
The medal is also available singly as a lower-mintage reverse proof.
Edit: it seems the silver reverse proof has a higher mintage than the proof in the set.
Thanks @JBK This was added after my initial post.
NOTE: Gold is ¼ ounce. Mintage 5,000 Household Order Limit: 1
Oh....the Silver singly too
Mintage 20,000 Household Limit 1
Oh boy. let me guess, gonna be like the whole privy mark silver/gold eagles again.
I already know how many bicycles there are, I'm ready!
The price of gold is set by faith, or lack of, in the currency it is priced in.
I just noticed on the screenshots above - this is a 9:00 AM start time, not noon.
yeah, they want to make it a lil easier for uk peeps - good eye - know I'm gonna forget and at 11 be like hows everything unavailable already? 😂
I like them but too $
Not waking up at 5am for this one...
west coaster's always lose sleep over these new releases. it's worth it if there's a decent profit in flipping or something needed to fill a series in a collection. I'm more into the flipping side of things on these. limited editions could be good.
I hadn't even noticed this. The mint is really playing with times now. Different days, different hours....what's next? Totally random releasing???
I didn't notice. Good eye @JBK Cripes ! 4:00 AM ! Sheesh
As mentioned by @ɹoʇɔǝlloɔ , UK folks will be in the chase too. Double hard for us again ! Moan.
In and out...pretty much.
2 Orders
1 - Got Silver set USM088744XX
2 - Single US RP Gold USM088811XX
6737 orders between the Silver and Gold. My 3:41 AM alarm paid off this time
Tried the British site for their different singles, not a set .... slow and odd. Gave up after 3 minutes. Sigh.
At least the US site was almost back to normal. From the posts either folks are skittish or interest is low for this Mayflower offering.
Silver set now unavailable.
Decided not to play.... while the issues will be sold out, US design just did not get me wanting them.
Were you trying for one ? Or just checking?
gold reverse proof also unavailable
Interesting. The silver medal & gold set are still available, yet the gold coin and silver set are not.
I'm a little surprised that the silver didn't sell out before the gold. Must be people buy them all or none. LOL
Just bought the silver set and reverse proof. My Royal Mint Mayflower set arrived yesterday, Their single Mayflower coin appears bi-metalic and better than the US Mint product. They'll all be sent for grading soon. Nice coins
I like the font on the UK coin
gold set now gone also. Only the RP silver left
eBay sales tepid
Maybe there will be a registry two coin set like the US and Canada set in 2019.
You would think they'd do the same. It's not like the UK is Togo or Nevis or some tiny state. If so, the UK coins could be real winners, far scarcer than the Canada sets in 2019.
Those pilgrims were all about democracy. Sure they were.
Oh, they're all gone already. oh well.
“I believe in intuitions and inspirations. I sometimes feel that I am right. I do not know that I am. When two expeditions of scientists, financed by the Royal Academy, went forth to test my theory of relativity, I was convinced that their conclusions would tally with my hypothesis. I was not surprised when the eclipse of May 29, 1919, confirmed my intuitions. I would have been surprised if I had been wrong.”
“Then you trust more to your imagination than to your knowledge?”
“I am enough of the artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.”
Albert Einstein- quoted in Saturday Evening Post interview (1929)
From this other thread about these Mayflowers. Some members are not buying because of the recent burns by the Mint. I understand and don't blame them a bit.
Grrrrrr ... can't post a link.
They would if it were an ASE.
The problem with all commems and medals is that there are very few people trying to collect the full set. So it is easy to skip a particular issue because it doesn't fill a hole in their collection.
Some don't understand how flipping works...
They just cancel the sale.
Gold Reverse?
6 sold so far. Looking "Not Hot." "Not Warm." "Cold."
Gold 2-coin?
15 sold so far. Looking "Not Hot." "Not Warm." "Cold."
I can only say "I hope no one bought to flip"
My decision was made by the earlier sale time. I don't get out of bed early for stuff like this.
I might yet own one some day from the secondary market if the price drops enough.
Got the Confirmation email for both orders
Why not, Silver Reverse Proof...

Yeah, why not.
Congratulations.
I suspect quite a few did. A carryover from the excitement of the V75 issues. We will see if there are multiple returns to the mint. (who knows... may just take awhile to catch on).
I followed your lead @ECHOES.
Amazed it's still available. More than 2.5 hours since the opening bell.
All the others Not Available
Just ordered the Ag RP single. USM089109XX
One thing I noticed that confused me about the mintages... on the Mint page for the Reverse Proof gold, the small table to the right listed mintage as 5,000 with no product limit. However, when you read the description below, it says the mintage is limited to 10,000. So which is it?
Good day for me with the USM...

This is how the Mint gets it's nickname from me. The Puzzle Palace
9:00 EST!! Oh great, now I notice... Slept in from trying and failing on the AGE privy again. Palm->Face
got both US Mint golds and both silvers within first ten minutes. Separate purchases for the four items. Smooth mint web traffic.
The price of gold is set by faith, or lack of, in the currency it is priced in.
RP silver medal still available at 11 AM Central time, and with a 20,000 mintage no less. That certainly speaks to the desirability (or lack thereof). Thought about buying one but the Mint pulls enough money away from my business as it is; I'm not going to help bail them out of this latest junk offering.
