Some people are beginning to wonder if you’re the owner.August 13, 2017 2:23PM
rickoROFL..... Good one... Cheers, Rick
Yes Rick, he did list this on the forum as i was going to give him a reply to go study
all the books himself like we all had to do.... Why should we do his dirty work and
make things easy for him when we had to do all the work in years gone by...I know
back in the late 1960's when i began this hobby that when i asked a dealer the same
question but coins and stamps in general, the reply i got back was buy the reference
books and study them..... Like i said before it is possibly because the coins were not
issued for circulation but only for mint sets.... I say to silencer to either buy the pic
world coin book or the USA Red Coin Book...Just go into any dealer and they will be
happy to sell you a book issues from a previous year at a discounted price...Most
people think that once the year is over , that the reference books are obsolete....
That is so untrue as it is now 2017 and the issue i use is as follows
1901 - 2000 World Coin book ( 37th Edition ) & a Red Book from the 90'0July 21, 2017 12:35PM
hi rick. can you tell me of any hard to find coins 1970-2017??????????0July 15, 2017 9:25PM
Didn't you ask this on the forum? Somebody did and some members listed quite a few. I do not collect many in that date range. One would be the 1995W ASE. Then there are the close and far AM cents. Check the CPG for all the collectibles.
CPG is the CherryPickers Guide... a two volume book of errors on coins. A great resource.
