Brady not up to snuff...he may be looking at their portfolio and saying no mas. After all, how much money do you need when you have so much?
Well the fact is that Brady finished up with a QB rating of 67.3 with no touchdown passes, and the Patriots only scored one touchdown.
Given that sort of opportunity, you should normally beat any team with those sort of stats. Especially at home. Unfortunately the Eagles weren't up to the task.
Your team lost, by one or fifty...can't sugar coat the loss. I had already pointed out that Brady was off his game. Nice avatar, how long do you have to leave it up? I'm just curious, do you have like a shrine or altar in your home that's an Eagle place you go to find peace and have friends over for a vigil the night before the game?
Oh, BTW, what was your QBs rating?

I'm looking for the Eagles to rebound off that dreadful offensive performance last week, and score a decent amount of points.
Now the question is can their defense hold?
This is not technically a must win game. However it's very close to that with only six games left in the regular season because realistically at this point, only the NFC East winner is going to the playoffs.

Speaking as someone whose sole interest in professional football is that the Cowboys do as poorly as possible each season, let me say that I do not agree with Philadelphia's decision to not use a quarterback on offense today. Is that Uncle Rico lining up at QB, or did they hold a drawing and let a random fan play there?

Unfortunately the Eagles QB seems to be doing just the opposite. Perhaps the worst game of his career.
I'm not going to whitewash it - an absolute stinker of a game. The type of game that gets other QB's benched. Those fumbles would get a high school QB benched.
Unless Wentz comes out of his funk and regains his focus, this Eagles season will be over.
Well the good news is that with the loss by the stinkin' Cowboys, the Eagles remain in the playoff hunt.
The bad news is the NFC East is probably the worst division in the NFL.
So even if the Eagles make the playoffs, the chances are likely that it would be one game and out. But i'd still like to see the Eagles get there, even though it's nearly futile at this point to even imagine going any further than that.

If i was a Patriots fan, despite their terrific record so far, i'd worry about the obvious deterioration of Tom Brady. I'm not saying he'll never have a good game again, and he started off the season great. But old age it seems is finally catching up to him, and it might be sooner than many think.
Patriots could have easily lost their last two games due to Brady's poor performance. However the GOAT coaching from Bill Belichick simply outcoached the other idiot coaches for the wins.
Remember, Brady didn't have a very good Super Bowl last season either. His decline is obvious, and of course like every athlete, inevitable...just a question of when.
How rapidly precipitous will Brady's decline be? We shall see. But Bill Belichick's GOAT coaching can only go so far if he's got a QB that can't successfully make enough plays any longer.
After the game with the Dolphins on Sunday, the Eagles will be 6-6 and tied for first place in the NFC East. This is a stone cold hard fact.
Not a bold call with the Eagles a heavy favorite, but there is simply no conceivable way the Eagles can possibly lose this game.
Then it boils down to a four game schedule for the playoff spot with the Eagles having the easiest schedule and an upcoming game in three weeks against the Cowboys at the Linc which the Eagles will win.
I'm not predicting the Eagles will go far in the playoffs, and they might lose their first game depending on the opponent. However at least the Eagles will get there and the Cowboys won't, and that's a bit of a celebration right there.
BTW, Jason Garrett gets the ax shortly after the season ends, maybe a day after...book it.

You're exactly right.
However in this game, the Eagles have been in the tank, with Carson Wentz coming off probably his worst career game. While the Dolphins still stink, they have won 2 out of their last 4 games, and are a better team than they were at the beginning of the season.
For those reasons and a few more, a number of fans out there are predicting a Dolphins upset especially since it's a home game for them.
But i think this is a great spot for the Eagles to bounce back and at least show they can beat-up on a bad team, which i have no doubt they will.
Of course ten minutes into the game i could change my mind. 😉

BTW, Jason Garrett gets the ax shortly after the season ends, maybe a day after...book it.
steve i tend to agree with you, but this is the NFL my friend. some of the craziest, most inconceivable shit happens when you least expect it. as a Bears fan since the late 70s who has been surrounded by insufferable Cowboys fans virtually his entire life, i simply would hate for you to put the kiss of death on your team. i want there to be MAX AGONY come playoffs time for anyone even remotely associated with the DC franchise.
you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet
<<< most inconceivable shit happens when you least expect it. >>>
Steve - don't forget that even if you do win (which is NOT automatic) and are 6-6...........Cowboys are still in 1st because we stomped you earlier in the year.......or did you forget that.
Yes, as of right now, if it was a 12 game season, the Cowboys would win the tie breaker.
But that's like saying the horse in front after a mile, would win the Belmont Stakes which of course is a mile and a half race.
I was under the impression that you had given up on the Cowboys and the season, @DIMEMAN. At this point, why are you concerned about mundane points, such as tiebreakers?
Because Dimeman is going to apply for the Dallas Cowboys head coaching job which will be vacant approximately one day after this season ends.
Dimeman wishes to show Mr Jones in the interview that he is an optimist.
Because I always want to finish ahead of the eaglet's.......and we USUALLY do.
If the Eagles lose the Miami Minnows today, they may as well pack it in for the rest of season. I don’t care that the Minnows have won a couple games recently. This is a team that play-off bound teams beat PERIOD.
Halftime - should be 21-0 right now.
Eagles allowing this dogchit team to stay in the game. 😒
Those dogchit teams can jump up and bite your arse! GO FISH!
I just joined an internet checkers club.
I'm sure it will be more entertaining than watching this pathetic Eagles performance.
Philly was NOT prepared for Parker 🤷♂️
