That was the biggest example of a team on the take I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!! Someone got to someone in the Giants locker room at half time with some big money. PUKE PUKE PUKE PUKE PUKE PUKE PUKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I confess, i Paypaled each Giants player $5 at halftime to throw the game.

I'm surprised they would do that over a small amount of money, but remember these professional athletes are very greedy in this day and age, and every cent means something to them.

I sent Eli $10 because he is the quarterback.

I knew it....they could have made it look a little less obvious instead of just quitting.

I clearly told them don't spend the money right away to arouse suspicion. But one of the players after the game bought a $5 hot dog and that really ticked me off. He's going to get us all pinched.

Is there such thing as an “unimpressive win”? Barely squeaking by the Giants at home on a team with so much talent. Injuries have played a big factor in this teams record.

The NFC East - the division no one seems to want to win.

This will be another day see if the Eagles want to win. Washington is not very good, but they are at home. The Eagles barely beat the 2-11 Giants at home. A win would keep their "sweep and go to the playoffs" fantasy alive.

Another close game against a bottom tier team. 24-24 in the fourth quarter against the Redskins.

i'm so excited I can't contain myself. Rah Rah.

The Eagles are back to “the bad old days” in a sub par division, which the only reason why they might get into the playoffs.

The Eagles survive for another week. Dallas has to got face LA, which will be a tough game.

that dart to Sanders in the corner of the end zone was the most 2017 Wentz i have seen from Wentz since 2017. awesome throw.

by the way, if you want exhibit A as to why wagering on the NFL is not beneficial to your long-term health, go watch the final play of that game and keep in mind the Skins were getting 6.

if you backed the truck up on Washington, witnessing that would have been the equivalent of your life flashing before your eyes

you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet

You are so right about that. Just an absolutely brutal bad beat.

I am not feeling good about next weekend’s game with the Cowboys. The Eagles will not be able to piddle around for two or three quarters before they get serious, like they did with the Giants and Redskins. By then the Cowboys will have pulled out their tail feathers and grounded them.

Oh well ... maybe 2025 will be a good year.

Both of our RB's rushed for over 100 yds. That doesn't happen very often. ;)B)

It's tough if almost impossible to predict this 2019 Eagles team. They not only can erratically change game to game, they can erratically change quarter to quarter.

That being said, I like the angle of the Cowboys blowing out the Rams last Sunday, and sometimes if not often, weaker teams like the Cowboys get full of themselves when they do that, and under perform in their next game.

Also the Cowboys blew out the Eagles earlier in the season, so the Eagles should be highly motivated to avenge that loss, particularly at home.

Don't forget, the Cowboys have been somewhat erratic as well this season.

I'm picking the Eagles to win the game by around 7 points.

Maybe they won't wake Garrett up and leave him on the bus. That's worth 14 pts to us right there, :)B)

If the Cowboys kick the Eagles’ butts this week, you will probably get to enjoy another rollicking season of Cowboys - Garrett football, @DIMEMAN. There will be penalties for winning this season, for a little while, with Garrett at the helm.

As for the return of the Cowboys, after a Dallas ripped the Rams, what could I call them beyond “the Lambs? The Sheep Embryos if Dallas were still the Tenderfoots?

Huge game today for Eagles fans, wondering which team will show (Cowboys as well - the one that lost to the Jets or beat LA)

I bet a million dollars on the Eagles to win by 7 points on the nose.

The bookie gave me 2-1 odds which i thought was very generous. He initially offered me 3-1 odds, but in the holiday spirit i told him i just couldn't take advantage of him like that.

No problem, I've got a full tank of gas so i can quickly skedaddle if Bruno stops by my house on Tuesday looking for payment.

I just saw Garrett actually say something on his headset! Somebody must have startled him and woke him up!

But we are not playing Cowboy Football, which is OK as long as Garrett is GONE!!!!

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,026 ✭✭✭✭✭

Based on the first quarter tally, the final score could be Eagles 40, Cowboys 0.

    But i'm not expecting that.

Glassboy has not been pressured once. Even he can complete passes with enough time.

Pederson getting cute out there with the silly play calling. 😒

  • BillJonesBillJones Posts: 33,984 ✭✭✭✭✭

Yes, third and one, and Peterson gets nothing. Two poor play calls for sure.

Cowboys receivers have hands of stone out there.

Nice job dropping those passes. 👍

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,026 ✭✭✭✭✭

Now watch out for the fake punt Pederson...you listening?

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,026 ✭✭✭✭✭

Sure could use another score here to go into the locker room at halftime with some positives.

What's wrong with Cooper? He was great in first half of the season, now he can't even catch easy passes.

Pederson is really ticking me off with this snatching defeat from the jaws of victory play calling. 😒

The color guy on the play by play calling team may as well put on his Cowboy jersey. He’s obviously rooting for them.

And the Eagles only lead by four. If Peterson had played the third and one situation better, it could have been more. Garrett does get the least out of a lot of talent, but Peterson isn’t far behind.
