Looks like a wet night. O/U Eli int. probably at 2.

Eli checking his contract right now to see if he has to play in inclement weather or not?

I don't want to see no close game tonight. No come from behind win in the 4th quarter. None of that chit.

I want to see a blowout. A complete domination and humiliation of the Giants. I want to see
Eli in tears after the game.

    No prisoners! No mercy!

    Go Eagles!!!!!

The Eagles are dead, so cut us a break.

If you keep this up, I’m going to root for the Cowboys early in the playoffs so that you can enjoy Garrett for another season.

Kicking fans when they are down is not cool.

Well I don’t, so cut it out.

This Eagles’ team is pathetic. The division is yours. So lay off with the salt in the wounds.

    17 to 3 now ...

    Enjoy the Giants win.

The Eagles are dead for the next decade as they rebuild. This Eagle’s team has quit. They are losers.

Peterson is worse than Garrett. Fire the whole damn team. They are quitters.

They are not the Hummingbirds any more; they are the Fruit Flies. At the end of this game, they might be the Knats without the swarm.

so let me get this straight.....

Darius Slayton burns the Eagles for a TD, then late in the half not one but two Eagles allow him to run right past them for another one. neither one of them can claim "i thought i was getting safety help".........because one of the two was the safety!

Steve I hate to pour it on, but this is unprecedented suckage by your secondary

you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet

“How about Eli Manning’s performance tonight!”

When you are an adult, playing a Pop Warner team, the rest is easy.

“Are you ready for some football?”

I have not seen any football from the Eagles.

This is one of the most disappointing, if not the most disappointing Eagles team that i've ever seen. It's become pathetic beyond belief.

Win the Super Bowl in the 2017 season, they get paid, and then quit in the 2019 season, including the lethargic coaching staff headed by Doug Pederson.

But the Giants are also pathetic and in theory the Eagles could still come back and win this game. Pederson needs to wakeup and kick some keisters in the locker room at halftime. However i'm not so sure if he's capable of doing it.

Peterson and Garrett should be unemployed at the end of this season.

Wentz should go to the XFL. The Eagles might go 1 and 15 for a couple of seasons, but they need to start over. The current bunch can’t play and don’t have the heart to play.

High snap from center ... third and 13 ... this is not up to the Pop Warner standard.

Fire Peterson now. Send a message.

They should end this under the mercy rule.

The Eagles just put the football in the Giants end zone. Is that a penalty or something? I've never seen the Eagles do that before.

Neither of them are NFL quality coaches. They need to go back to college. It worked for Pete Carol.

The important thing is for people here to be able to continue to ridicule both teams and swapping coaches would be great for that.

Come on Eli, step it up, just get your team in position to kick a game winning field goal.

This thread and the Eagles season can then RIP.

Gutless Pederson kicks the extra point. I'd fire him just for that.

    Should have went for 2.

It’s now tied. Time for an Eli Manning comeback to make the New York sportswriters happy.

Ah, no. The odds are with a tie given that old man Manning has cooled off.

    Well, the Eagles did it.

Old man Manning goes home with a loss, which is justice given what a pain in the butt he has been.

Well the Eagles had more fight in them than the Giants, and that's really not saying all that much.

But whatever it is, i'll take it for now. :)

I’m glad the Eagles won, it was nice to see Eli and the Giants just fall flat on their face after the first half in which everyone in that stadium thought the Eagles were done. I’m not sure I’ve heard more booing ever like there was in the 2nd Quarter!

  • BillJonesBillJones Posts: 33,984 ✭✭✭✭✭

It was a dramatic win, but remember it was against a 2-11 team. Championship teams should win match-ups like that easily.

Okay, I confess, i Paypaled each Giants player $5 at halftime to throw the game.

I'm surprised they would do that over a small amount of money, but remember these professional athletes are very greedy in this day and age, and every cent means something to them.

I sent Eli $10 because he is the quarterback.
