Not sure - I sold my APMEX pucks on a 3 day auction as soon they arrived. Hit the sweet spot - $2700 for a raw set.0 -

I read in a thread somewhere (maybe here?) that someone from the Mint had said orders placed before 7:30pm would receive the coins. Does seem reasonable really. They were in the 3839'sxxx around 6:30pm if I recall correctly. I finally got an order in around then, and ours is in "process" now.
Maybe it has been said, but just consider just how many weborders got as far as getting an order number then failed at some other point. Happened to me several times. I had one try at the "order review" stage for over an hour all ready to go, then accidently closed the window!!
So if the first numbers were 38324xxx or so, and 75,000 orders took place to around 6:30 or thereabouts, just how many of these were duplications but received unique order numbers that were never ultimately used? I suspect a very high number. So if my logic follows, perhaps 1 in 5 attempts actually got thru, and perhaps another 4 got order numbers but failed.
27,000 total orders or so. 4 out of 5 wasted order numbers. So numbers up to about 3842500 very well might have their orders filled. I fell pretty confident even with a 6:30 order. Not to mention failed cards, ordered too many, etc.0 -

The mint web site was messed up. A lot of phantom orders were in their system. Perhaps they were not fast enough eliminating them. So orders before 7:30 PM could well be ok. Who knows.0

I'm not convinced the poofing = higher prices. All's it means is they WILL FLOOD the market when in hand, since they can no longer meter out.
Basic laws of economics will prevail once the first few are sold (at moon prices). I did have one 2008 W Plat Proof set on B/O for nearly two months and got it. It was great. The day that it arrived for around $1900 the FeeBay BINs were about $4K. The memories... Never know.Land of the Free because of the Brave!0 -

True, but then, the ones preselling may not be the ones getting their coins in the first batch......presellers count on that as one of the reasons they presell to get the flip done and over.
I don't plan to sell until inhand anyway, and I may even delay a little by getting some graded.....I may not hit the peak, but it is what it is.I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Ie.....the first to get it won't get their sets until the end. The last to get the email are almost ready to receive their sets.I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Until I see some shipments go out, especially 5 set sealed boxes, the US Mint could do anything.
With apology emails flying and bad press around the sale of these, I still
don't think we can count out a last minute change, order reduction scenario.
It could very interesting soon.
