Next up a box of 2009 Goudey that I purchased at my local card shop for $79. No big hits but at least the patch isn't monochromatic. The Young is numbered 14/21.

Won a nice consulting contract for my company last week so bought some unopened from BBCE even though I still have a bunch of stuff sitting in my closet waiting to be ripped.
Will be opening all of this tonight, though I will be taking a break from 8:30 - 10:30pm to play some basketball.

First up are 5 packs of 1978 OPC hockey. Packs were $18 a piece.
Unfortunately not too much star power and very few centered cards. The second scan contains the 4 best centered cards.
Next up the 1972 Topps football series one pack.

One pack of 1972 Topps series one football purchased from BBCE for $90. I need a Ron Yary in PSA 9 for my collection.
Struck out on HOF RCs but cards were in pretty good shape. Will probably buy two more packs from BBCE for my June rips.
Next up a box of 2009 Goudey I had leftover from the weekend.

2009 Goudey box purchased from my local card shop for $79. Nothing too exciting in the box but I like getting an auto and patch card in each box.
Will rip 2001 Heritage box and 86 Fleer basketball pack later this evening.

I think the Clark will be submitted under the next good PSA commons special.
2001 Topps Heritage box purchased from BBCE for $235. Was hoping for some ink but got nada.
The Gwynn is a Chrome numbered 394/552 and the Ripken is an SP. Overall there were 37 SPs in the box.
Will have to open the 86 Fleer tomorrow. I have really enjoyed opening the 2001 Heritage will add a box to my June rips as well.

Dang it, too bad on the centering on the Ripken. Not TOO bad, but enough to keep it out of a 10 slab. It's tough to find centered.

Got some grades from previous rips, popped on Friday. Overall no complaints the Brodeur and Bruce Smith will be added to my HOF collection (Brodeur is a no-brainer once he retires). There were subbed at $4.50 per card.
Will update individual posts with grades.

I am pretty impressed with the 09 Goudey this year. They look so much better now that they don't have the stupid verbage from Jeter and Griffey. That is a cool buy back frome the 09 Goudey too. However, you would think that it would be in better condition considering how hard they are to pull from a pack.

Went to my local card shop today and bought a couple boxes. Have been working pretty long hours this month (60-75 billable hours a week) so haven't been doing much ripping.
Opened a box of SP Legendary Cuts which I purchased for $59.00. Nothing to write home about.

Went to the Chantilly card show over the weekend and bought a ton of unopened. I proceeded to rip most of it over the weekend so will scan the highlights. I still have a box of 05/06 UD The Cup, two packs of 1986 Fleer basketball, a box of 2008 Topps Heritage update and a box of 2001 Topps Archives football. Will open after posting results from other products opened.

Now time for some live ripping.
First up a box of 2001 Topps Archives football purchased for $60. The auto list on the back of the box includes Namath, Jim Brown, Montana, Barry Sanders, Dick Butkus, Gales Sayers, Staubach, John Riggins, Unitas, etc.

No auto but did get a stadium seat relic. 2001 Topps archives box was fun to open but no pay out.
Next up a pack of 1986-87 Fleer basketball purchased for $235. Bought from the same gentleman I bought 3 packs off of in March. The price increased this go around but that is fine since I know the packs are legit (as evidenced by my Jordan pull last time).

Jordan right off the bat. Nice sticker and the first Jordan sticker I've pulled in this thread.
Sequence looks like I will get a Ewing out of this pack. I guess I should have checked the sticker first, probably could have graded and flipped this pack for a profit (but that isn't really my style). Centering on the cards isn't very good, hopefully it will get better.

The Ewing shows up as expected. I have to admit the packs are as exciting to open one card at a time when you know the card sequence. Cards are still very OC, other than the sticker nothing worth submitting so far.

Jordan!!! A double Jordan pack! I've never seen that before. Unfortunately the top left and bottom left corners are a mess due to being the top/gum card in the pack. The card will probably grade out to a 6 or 7 but who cares it is a Jordan rookie!! I will be subbing both the Jordan rookie and Jordan sticker. Cards will go out tomorrow and I should have the grades in about a week.
I am going to take a break then will open an 05/06 UD The Cup box some time after 11pm.
