<< <i>I love that L C Greenwood with the palm trees in the background! >>
One thing about that card that always bugged me is the fact that Greenwood is hardly even noticeable. My eye is drawn to Joe Greene #75 who stands prominently just right of center.
You need to call that guy in Wisconsin for some 1972 topps football wax boxes. His high number boxes produce many 9's and some 10's. His low number boxes produce the same. The packs are incredible, and the cards inside are fresh, fresh, fresh !!!
Great thread. I have been patiently watching all the pulls with the hopes of seeing one of Dave & Adam's Gai slabbed wax paks opened. Dave & Adam's has been listing a large amount of gai slabbed '70 & '72 bb wax packs along with '70 fb wax paks. I was very suspicious of these paks especially since they were under the new Gai flip. I tried to view D & A's recent feedbacks from buyers of these slabbed paks but D & A has choosen to use the (user ID private) method of selling therefore ebay will not let us ebayers view the feedback left by the buyers of these paks. Nor will it allow me to know who the winner bidder was on each pak. I don't trust a seller when there is no transparency. So I've learned two things today from reading your thread-- I'm now completely convinced that any vintage pak in gai's newer flips is simply to risky to purchase; and Dave & Adam's is no longer the top rate company that they once had been!

Too bad one of those rookie cards in the 73 BB pack wasn't the Schmidt!
Thanks again for sharing. It's great to watch!

Went to my local card shop and picked up a couple boxes of 2009 Goudey and a box 2008 Topps Co-Signers baseball. Will commence with ripping one of the 2009 Goudey boxes.
Tape delay on the pics for the 2009 Goudey box break. Happy with the Tiger Woods sports royalty card just wish it could have been autographed. Box was purchased from my local card shop for $79.95.
Opened a box of 2008 Topps baseball Co-Signers today. Purchased the box from my local card shop for $99.95. I don't know why I even bother with Co-Signers, I have opened a bunch of the football boxes and never pulled anything great and same goes for baseball. The Hernandez is numbered to 50.
It was an interesting rip. Nothing pulled worth submitting to PSA. I think I will look for a 2nd series pack (Ryan series) if I am to open any more 68 bb.
Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Received my most recent order from BBCE. Will be opening the 4 mini packs and some/most/all of the 75 mini box tonight. Need a Rice, Carter and Yount in PSA 9 for my collection.
4 packs of 1975 Topps minis purchased from BBCE for $25 per pack as part of CU forum group rip. No stars but scanned all best centered cards from the 4 packs.

First four packs from the box had little star power and only a handful of centered cards. Oddly it seems like the top card and gum card are normally the best centered in the pack. Hopefully that doesn't continue.

Got mine yesterday. No as good as hoped. Thought I might do better with the stars considering not many were being pulled. Besides the scanned cards, I did get an off center Bench and an off center Gibson highlight. Here are the better ones for submission. They all appear to be at least a 9 with the exception of the Robinson which has a bad upper left ding. Bob

Went to the local card shop on Saturday and picked up a couple boxes of 2009 Goudey and a box of 2008 Razor Encore Cut Signature Edition. Will be opening one of the Goudey boxes and the Encore box.
