Black on black background for the scan was probably not my best decision ever. Cards all have some corner and edge wear. Nothing worth submitting. The checklist has gum stain on the back.

1972 Topps Football series I pack purchased from BBCE for $90. Sadly the Riggins was the gum card so the back is a disaster. Nothing worth subbing to PSA.

Grade popped for latest Jordan. Graded exactly as I expected. Have another sub on the way to PSA with several 75 mini commons, some 86 Fleer commons and the 77 Dantley & Parish cards pulled a couple weeks ago.

You might want to include that '71 Laroche in your next sub - it looks really sharp and the centering's not bad - a borderline 9. In PSA 9, it would be a pop 4 and that's a $250 card.

Anyone else disturbed by the '71 wrapper candy ad?

"It changes colors right before your eye teeth. Do it" WTF?

And fergie23, this thread rules, thanks for all the fun and jealousy, haha.

Opened a box of 2009 Philadelphia that I purchased from my local card shop for $79.95. The box topper was an auto-ed RC of Moreno. I like the look of the autos might actually go for the set.

Bought a bunch of stuff from BBCE over the weekend but felt like ripping something so went to my local card shop this afternoon. First up 2 boxes of 2009 Philly football purchased for $69.95 a piece. Didn't pull any of the big name rookie short prints or autos but still like this set a lot. Not sure why they had to add non-football cards to the set though. When the price is right I will buy a case off eBay.

Next up will be 3 boxes of 2007 SP Legendary Cuts.

Three boxes of 2007 SP Legendary Cuts purchased from local card shop for $59 a piece. Actually pretty happy overall, the Hubbell is the first HOF cut sig I've pulled (even if the card is ugly as sin).
The Will Clark collector on these boards should PM me about the Clark jersey card #187/199.

Next up is a box of 2009 Allen & Ginter.

Nice pull with the Manning. image

I too was put off by the addition of the non-sport "inserts" into the set as SPs, so I just built a base set and called it good there. Very sharp photography with the set.

A box of 2009 Allen and Ginter purchased from local card shop for $89.95. Happy with the Bazooka mini. This is the 2nd one I've pulled this year. It is also the 2nd Denard Span auto I've pulled which isn't so happy.

Next up a box of 06/07 Sweet Shot hockey.

One box of 2006/07 Sweet Shot hockey purchased for $49.00. Didn't pull any star cards kind of a bust of a box.

Next up a pack of 1978 OPC hockey.

My next purchase from BBCE should be delivered Wednesday or Thursday. The 81 Topps football box is for my unopened collection. The 79 Topps basketball box may or may not be opened. I need a PSA 9 Alex English for my collection but the last box I opened the best of the 4 English's I pulled ended up a PSA 8. I was the second highest bidder on this auction OPC Gretzky PSA 9 so maybe karma will kick in and I will pull a Gretzky from the 79 OPC pack. I think if I would have just bid $4400 as my max as opposed to $4300 I would have won. Ohh well I will get one eventually one way or another.

The 83/84 OPC were purchased to hopefully pull a Pelle Lindbergh rookie.

I enjoy watching your rips. It's tough when packs are so expensive because of one particular card, but you keep on ripping! The Mikita looks pretty sweet, you'd think a PSA 8 pack would have solid corners but even a grader like Steve can't see inside the pack.

Just purchased two packs of 86/87 Fleer basketball from BBCE. Saw the little note on the home page saying they had cracked a new box and decided to see if my good luck will continue.

Opened box of 1979 topps baseball vending purchased from BBCE for $200. Had high hopes after seeing what the board did with their 79 vending case purchase. Unfortunately the box was a dud. No Ozzies, no Ryans, no Roses. All the HOF cards were oc unfortunately. There were a few mint commons but most 79 commons in psa 9 aren't worth the grading fees.
One of the first times I had nothing worth scanning out of a vending box.

10 packs of 1987/88 OPC hockey purchased from BBCE for $7 per pack. Some HOFers but didn't get a Robitaille RC. These cards go for nothing in PSA 9 or 10 (except for the Gretzky) so nothing will be submitted.

    Next up 1982/83 OPC hockey.

1976 Topps Football rack pack purchased from BBCE for $150. Overall pretty pleased with the condition of the cards in the racks many psa 9 commons though I will research selling prices to see if they are worth submitting. Would have been nice to hit a big name rookie but that doesn't seem to be the way this rip is going today.

Time to rip some more packs.
Two packs of 1980/81 OPC hockey purchased from BBCE for $60 per pack. Pulled the big rookie looks like an 8. I needed PSA 9s of Langway and Goulet for my PC but no dice. The Messier is actually the best centered card in either pack. Gotta luv that.

Next up 3 packs of 1981/82 OPC hockey.

Three packs of 81/82 OPC hockey purchased from BBCE for $30 per pack. Pulled another key rookie unfortunately it is horribly OC top/bottom. Centering in the packs was decent, probably 3-4 well centered cards per pack but the rough cut was really rough for most of the cards. May sub the Bossy.

Next up a pack of 1986-87 Fleer basketball. Will the Jordan streak continue??? (I certainly hope so)

One box of 1979 Topps basketball purchased from BBCE for $225. Fun box to open because you get 4 or 5 cards of every player. I pulled an English rookie in each of the last two packs I opened. Sadly all the English rookies were OC and the majority of the HOFers were OC as well. Commons sell for nothing in PSA 9 and 10 so there will be nothing subbed from this box.

Next up 1991 Stadium Club football box.
