I did take Mr. Poe up on his offer to peruse his website. I saw 2 silver quarters (both SLQ's) that were overgraded by 2 full grades. I did the taste test and I chose "no Poe."

What a wit. 512 posts all in his defense. Probably all in this thread (of 634 posts so far....that would make him roughly a little less than 1/12 of the posts). Thing is, for all his posting, he hasn't gained any respect. he has lost it. He has gained any buyers/bidders. He has lost them (as mentioned, I almost bid on one of his auctions until the terms made me verify who the seller was then I recognized it and moved on).
One thing that has been obvious from Poe and his being such a scammer......he protests too much. He cannot reason. He attacks. Poe, you, like this thread, have beaten a dead horse. You have nothing new to bring to the party. You were found at fault. You were proven to be a liar and a poor (bad) person to deal with. Yes, it was only 1 person/auction to bring you to light (and he wasn't even your neg on ebay...that was someone else that you seemed to have done the same type of deal to) but that is all it took with how you ran to catfish for help and how you, and he, have tried to defend your honor.
What's interesting is that you went immediately on the attack. If you were fair in your dealings, it would have been different. You don't like how people talk about you nor treat you. Well, I have defended a lot of people, and you weren't one of them. You clearly deserve everything that people have had to say about you so that others don't make the mistake to deal with you.
So, go about your name calling...it actually made me laugh tonight, and lord knows, I have needed a good laugh this last week. You provided it. Made even funnier by how you cling to the icon that Russ has said that he put into the database. You revile him, you attack him, yet, you cling to his icon. I can say this, long before this thread ever appeared, I came across many of your auctions. I never bid, mainly because of two things: the interesting shipping instructions, and the fact that many of the coins appeared to be over dipped and or cleaned. And I don't need glasses to see that.
I looked in the dictionary to see what "Poe" meant. It referred me to "Moron" and then listed: "Please see Poe58 on ebay".
Dude....you have NO clue. Picking on a coin icon. LOL! Trying to pick fights with people with high post counts (dude....that has been done to death already. Take the advice given to read more and post less and you will learn). Also, take a look at Russ' and Kiefer's auctions.....they know what they are doing, don't try to rip people, have return policies without jumping through hoops afire, and don't overgrade/misrepresent coins.
You should only be half as good and then you could at least be a seller to be worth a risk. But, you aren't, so you aren't.
Also, the number of positives/negatives you have don't mean anything. Your policies and your attitude (and how honest you are) mean a lot more. Mirabela made a mistake and gave you a positive...we know that he didn't mean to. Yet, you count that in your list, right? You then gave him a negative as retaliation. I would trust a transaction with him (with your negative on him) much more than anything from you. Also, anyone who has half a brain knows that a lot of ebayers are scared of negatives from sellers so they don't give honest feedback and either don't give feedback at all (how many of THOSE do you have?) or give wimpy positive ones. Also, are you one of the sellers who won't give feedback first? Why not? AFRAID???? If you are afraid, maybe you have something to hide? How about before you screwed mirabela? Did you post before your buyers then? Why not? Because you use feedback extortion?

The newbies (and masochists repeat buyers like Catfish) who buy your coins are just the tip of the iceberg. If you were a good and honest seller, your ebay score might be over 3000 (not 300). If you were a good and honest seller, additional collectors would consign their coins to you to sell on ebay (like Russ and other forum members do). Your thumbnail pictures (600dpi!), overgraded garbage, and tricky return policy scare more people away than you will ever know.
