    I'm not sure that this has anything to do with this thread at this point, but going back to page one I can tell all ebay sellers that I have not placed a bid before 10 seconds remaining in the past 3 years. And most of the time I still don't win the item because there are always several others out sniping me. If your coins have the right stuff they will be well targeted by the snipers.

    I also played the game.....1c start with no reserve......lost on most of my coins....including this one

    1884-S Morgan - ANACS Almost Uncirculated 53

    NOT a good feeling, but I made the choice to sell without a reserve & knew the chance I was taking.

    Maybe next time I'll start higher.

    BTW, if the buyer looks fimiliar you'll know he's one of the great members here & I can't thank him enough!image

    I just put up a bunch of coins on Ebay. All Starting at $9.95 with no reserve. Including a 1885-CC MS63 certified.
    If I get $12.00, then that's what I get. If I get $1,200, then that's even better. But DON'T PULL YOUR LISTING AT THE LAST MINUTE.
    I've sold hundred of items other than coins. If the product is good and you advertised it honestly (and correctly) , then you will get a fair price for it.
    Actually learning a few things here. What a great site.

    that's where i send my crap NGC coins to PCGS and if they come back 2 grades lower i pay all the fees and forfeit the the coins to you !
    if they come back 1 grade lower you pay all the fee's and i keep the coins.
    If they come back on a straight cross,you pay me 50% of the PCGS daily price guide plus all the fee's and i keep the coin's.

    That's an absolutely stupid bet Proof- what moron would take that bet on sight unseen coins?? Give me a freakin' break......
