Mike, glad to hear you are doing well and getting closer to completion! The wait for us on the boards to see any of your new creations has been agonizing, lol. They always say, the longer you make em wait, the more they will want it. I mean, it was in a little different context, but you get the point!

Ohhh I completely understand about the waiting game lol but 5 1/2 years is definitely a long wait. I need to start brushing off the cob webs and get my feet wet with some simple stuff first. I did however milled some amazing burly/ birdseye/curly maple and finally put it in the shop. Cut down and milled here on the property and it’s definitely very pretty, I think I’ll use that wood for the first box in the reborn shop. Thanks guys for the comments and the follow through with this journey.

    That's beautiful!

I took a class to make a pen once at a woodworking store. I really enjoyed the process. I really wish I had the space and tools to do it as a hobby. I just bought a few since I can't make them!!

Nice work on the pen. I can always appreciate a cool pen. My nautical pen is my regular go to for work. Dragon needs a refill.

The Koa pen. I’m glad it works great for you, now if you could sign a check for me on the whole shop costs that would be great lol I’m kidding.
I need to travel to Hawaii just to pick up more Koa, love working with that wood.

Mike, you once considered attending The National as a vendor. Is that something that you would still like to do one day? I have never attended, but I hope to attend sometime in the future.
