Picked up a new Gold Eagle - Beautiful in hand. Surface has a serious mirrored PL look but must have been on a long stagecoach ride. Bag marks probably reason for the MS62 grade. Also not sure how much I like the label because it places date, denomination, grade and serial number on reverse.

Well, there was this coin, freshly graded out of a flip at FUN but hardly new to the market. The only reason I even got to see it was because a dealer, having just picked it up from NGC was showing it to Charmy Harker, who called me over because “it had my name on it”
After a bit of digging, I was able to find the original auction listing over at the Newman Numismatic Portal:
Along with a plate!!!
Needless to say, I am stoked, despite having gone over-budget for the entire year in the first week. Sharing the same name with the previous owner (no relation) is just icing on the cake!34 -
My first MS65 Morgan. The rest of my collection are 63-64 so far, but I found a 65 I could easily afford, and loved that look.

Just feeding the addiction. I don't normally collect dimes, but I do love early date seated coinage nonetheless. PCGS XF45 "Partial Drapery". Really, no drapery, but a die polishing effect. I dig the funky colors on the Reverse.

Three latest editions. The 1904 V nickel is one of the cleanest I have ever seen for the grade (MS64) and if I didn't know better, I would guess it was a 65.
