Attended a coin show up in Nashua, NH and came across this nifty slab holder which has slanted slats for the labels to be clearly visible instead of having to lift them up to view. Got the last piece that was available since it quickly sold out (3 for $25 or $10 for one).
Holds twenty of most TPG slabs and dimensions are roughly:
13 & 1/4 inches long, 2 & 3/4 inches wide and 3 inches tall.
Kindly overlook any typos/formatting errors etc. since it is being posted from my cell phone.
Cheers.
I have one of those myself... love it and regret that I only bought one when i had the chance PS I got mine at a NH coin show as well
1st coin of 2023 and the last coin I needed for my slabbed date set (finished the album date set last year with the same year morgan... Nice 92's a pain to come by though plenty of ugly ones out there
Last thing... I'd call her AU50-53.... I'm pretty sure NGC will as well but I'm too cheap to try it (probably lol)
Eeek... haven't used them yet... I'm still waiting on the copy stand.
Maybe they are better now. I tried them years ago and they burned out faster than regular bulbs.
Good to know... at least I'm down to just proper bulb selection and tweaking the white balance on my camera. Once everything gets here and gets set up anyway!

My first no motto $20 Liberty will without a doubt be my big acquisition for the year. Sort of a bullion with benefits proposition, IMO -- at this grade level I was able to get it at what feels like a pretty small premium over something totally generic, and it's associated with interesting history. I raised most of the $ for it by selling a pile of 90% on the BST. This has more personality for sure.

Nice coin!
I too started buying 20s with a modified play on purchasing bullion. I soon found that I enjoyed them so much that I switched to collecting them outright. I hope this year to venture into some New Orlean’s branch coins. Definitely will have to accumulate them very slowly!

I've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of this NEWP, which arrived today. As you can tell - it's a BIG coin!
It's a 1 1/2 Taler from 1655, weighing 43 grams and 55mm in diameter - a Morgan dollar weighs "only" 26.7 grams, and is about 38mm!
The measurements you cite are what I typically see on camera lens filters, not coins! You could seriously hurt your thumb flipping a 55mm 43 gram coin, with a "heads or tails" decision...
Two original Wayte Raymond board sets. I like these better than most I usually see because the boards are for the actual sets and not their generic boards just filled with coins.

I bought another coin but I’m going to wait this time to post to make sure I actually get what I paid for.

Got this stunning 1939 PR65 half in yesterday:
It's from the CA-30 die pair, which is the CAM die pair for the year. It's got noticeable contrast and fairly deep mirrors, I'm quite happy with it!
