Congratulations! When you submitted did you specify a minimum grade? Or cross at any grade?

Although this coin is not a new purchase to me, it is cool since I just got this back from PCGS where it crossed over from a NGC MS65. It is now a MS-65+

Edited to say, the pictures were done on my IPhone-7 with no enhancements to the picture quality.

I love my iPhone 7. It takes great pictures. My problem is operator error 😂. Your pictures look great. JZ

Thanks @Jzyskowski1.
I too suffer a lot from "operator error".
Some days perfection and other days, disaster.
I am really pleased with these pics.
They capture the deep cameo of this coin.

1883 G.A.R 17th Annual Encampment in Denver Medal
diameter: 38mm; composition: white metal
grade: PCGS MS62 POP 0/1/0
pedigree: Bob Jesinger
I love the Colorado mountain and mining motif on this one.
I'm also grateful hat PCGS is slabbing these GAR medals now.
This white metal medal has very flashy fields which aren't evident in these photos. I wish they shined like the modern proofs that Phil does. Something to think about addressing in the future!
That is a beautiful medal. I just sent in a fairly large order of various coins, tokens and medals.
I sure hope they grade them all. And trueviews also.
Plus sending into NGC, ANACS, SEGS & IGC. Should be an interesting 100-150 items.

PCGS has a "grade" for this as BU89RD.
Very cool! I hope the only reason these were gradeded 89 is that they didn't want to melt all the 69s. Have you thought about sending it back in for a real grade and TrueView?
I think this is the coin of the year for me. @dcarr hammered this Liberty Double Eagle. I wish my pictures could show what it looks like in hand. The date is still there in the shadows. Also the S mint mark is there making the CAL a fitting addition.
@Zoins I have a 2009 ASE graded BU89 also, I don't have a trueview for the 35th anniversary medal. They were both cheap from APMEX. So I have two "BU89" coins which I've asked PCGS what that meant and never got a clear answer other than "Brilliant Uncirculated" which is what the coins says. No grade for "89" in existence. The ASE I should send back from grading.

Well, I would say you knew what you were doing and confident enough to do that. So, that’s even better!
I’ve only done that once and it didn’t cross. I kinda knew it wouldn’t but thought to give it a shot.

Luckily my new Z Flip 3 is doing a lot better with coin pics than my old S20..
I normally like my walkers blast white with so much luster it drips off the coin and has to be mopped up off the floor. I recently bought this PCGS MS66 that has a satin look to it though. Still not 100% sure why, I guess just because it looks so "clean":
Howard C. Weinberger is considered one of the founding fathers of Space Collecting, with a specialization in coins and medallions. He is the one who uncovered the full background of the Robbins Medallions and authored two books about them, providing all the historical data, including which were flown. He also published the research on the Fliteline Medals as well as the Apollo 13 and Apollo 14 Franklin Mint Medals.
His influence is far reaching as he was also the one to get Numismatic Guaranty Corp (NGC) to agree to certify the Robbins Medallions, followed by the Fliteline Medallions, the Apollo 13 and Apollo 14 Franklin Medallions and then all the medals related to Space.
Weinberger is known to have a keen eye for what would become popular among collectors. He was the first to assemble a collection of the gold Robbins Medallions and paid large sums to acquire them when people thought he was crazy.
Over the years his expertise has been sought out by collectors, dealers, auction houses and journalists. After many years, parts of his collections have come to market for collectors to enjoy. Many of the finest Medallions that have surfaced for sale can be identified as from his collection by the certification letter being addressed to him from an astronaut.
Expensive because of the collection it came out of and only the second that Heritage has ever offered. It was offered in their Space and Memorabilia auction. I also bought a number of other medals and coins. Bought a set of 20 silver coins by Franklin Mint that the sterling silver coins had flown Apollo 13 metal in them. The set I bought had been owned by astronaut Alan Bean. I need to find a way to get the 20 graded and kept together.
Plus an auction only needs 2 idiots that want a coin…I was one of the idiots:
I promised myself I wouldn't spend stoopid money on a single US coin but man I gotta get another 1824 "over various dates" half (regret selling my AU58) and all the cheap ones either have hits around the date or too much toning. Gotta be able to clearly see the 4/2/1/0 or maybe it's just a 4/2/0 but I'm pretty sure I see a one in there 2, i mean too.
My Christmas present. Bless my grandson(8). Got together with his uncle and bought grandpa a present. They accidentally sent it to me but was able to recover and get it to the gift stash. I peeked 👀😉
The second book! This deserves a snoopy dance !

One of the hardest dates for toning, which is surprising because it’s otherwise fairly common.

@coinsarefun Great question. I marked the form as MS65RD as a minimum All the MS64RD TV in Coin Facts have quite a few marks in the fields.

Will this crossover as MS67? Just received it...
I dunno if it'll cross but I do know these new ANACS slabs are best cracked opened from the bottom. Then you can kind of peel the two halves apart.
This just cost me $785... (seller's picture not mine)
