The GMMnut search takes me to a domains for sale site. Is there a link that works ?

All the Gallery Mint links on smalldollars.com take me to domain for sale site also.

I separated my 98 from its box as I noticed years ago box had strong sulfur smell. Your 98 is looking perfect ! I only have one 98. From what I recall Bressett had the 98's struck up & gifted them away to possibly manifest coin hobby's desire for small brass dollars.

I posted here when I tried to clear up my submission but failed.
I think it shows what I got from eBay

    Agree 100%!

Stef has an amazing collection, one of the greatest Landis collections I know of!

There are many other great rarities with photos on GMMNut, SmallDollars.com and other sites, but there owner's aren't that public about posting.

Unfortunately, the GMMNut site went offline after the passing of it's author Verne R. Walrafen.

SmallDollars.com is run by @MWallace and still operational. Check out the Gallery Mint page here:

Yes, The Gallery Mint site and Verne Walrafen's site about Gallery Mint items (which was awesome) both went offline not long before I stopped updating my site. Actually there's many links on my site that are no longer active.

What's the point of linking to nothingness ???

I do not want to buy a domain name....

Month after month, year after year...

I have looked, its all gone...

Haven't these links gone to absolutely nowhere for years now ???

Verne's site got deleted a half a decade ago or a bit more...

I had many stories on the Verne's site he co authored with me , now just titles exist, yet site content are & continue to be vapors...

Why send eager $ collectors to seriously old dead ends, year after year ???

Can anyone share any active & current Gallery Mint links for me to visit ???

    Wow! Sorry to hear that!

Would you be okay if I archive it first so it stays online and later potentially modify it to something that's easily maintainable?

    Steph / @Zoins ,

I've only started doing some deep digging but came up with one promising link. I will try to find and post more tomorrow when I research from my PC instead of a phone.

Obviously I've never visited the missing websites when they were active, so I don't know how current or complete the link below is. If it is valid, perhaps Zoins could archive also. I will try to find more. Here is the link. Let me know if it has any value.

    That's awesome.

One thing I loved about Verne's site is all the eBay history. Seems like we need to take screenshots of Ron's new site too!

    @coinsarefun / @Zoins ,

The most current archive that I can find of GMMnut's site is from November 2017. Here is a link.

    http://web.archive.org/web/20171106233302/http://www.gmmnut.com/

What was Gallery Mint Museum's website name? I'll see if I can dig up an archive of that site as well.

I used Ron's verbiage for the description. Measures 7' in length and 1 1/4" in width. And, has some weight to it.....I like that.

I picked this up last week and after I posted it a very gracious member offered to sell me a copper and sliver set!
Well I received it today and figured out a few things. Such as the copper strike I bought from Ron has many die lines (which I love) But, I notice the set has both Matte Silver And Copper medals.......I asked Ron if this was an early test strike that led to matte finishes and I was right. Ha! pretty neat when you fall into things and figure them out.....very enjoyable.

@coinsarefun, glad you like your set!

If anyone else would like one there are a few remaining. You can PM me.

Q: When does a collector become a numismatist?

A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.

A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.

Great pick up on the "One Itannicnic" tokens and constructing the history with Ron!

There is a lot of great history with the Cincinnati tokens over time!

    Here's my original:

1930 Cincinnati Numismatic Association Membership Medal - One Itannicnic - Silver - by Gregg Wright & Sons Company

Any guesses on how long it will take the gold to sell out, or if it will sell out at all?

Yeah, prolly many are on the fence regarding the price but this is not bullion.
This is numismatic art......it really is. The video says it all.
    .
I’m going to put all the new silver and gold into SEGS holders cause it will make a
Super cool presentation.......to bad they don’t do multiple holders.

Have you asked PCGS if they will slab these? PCGS has slabbed many Ron Landis pieces for you already.

No I haven't yet. I'm still trying to get an appointment the the "bosses that be" to get the right label. ;)
But, either way since the originals are SEGS, I thought to have the new and the gold in SEGS. Might be a really neat presentation.

I found the answer to my question above from an esteemed member of another forum.

    https://www.lastchanceforever.org/

BTW, anyone who doubts the mad die engraving skills of Ron Landis needs to take a look at some of his early pieces.

A few that I've found below.
