One of the things about this site that DRIVES ME NUTS is the fact that a reply will "disappear" if you make a small typo and try to go back to edit it.
That happened to a response I made early this morning. Of course work gets "in the way" most of the day and it's taken me until now to "recreate" this response to @Zoins comment above.
With all the excitement and mayhem I saw Tuesday night and into early Wednesday morning with items appearing, selling quickly, DISAPPEARING, and new items being posted, I figured that I had to act quickly when something popped up or run the risk of losing it or never seeing it again.
That happened right after I posted the first two pieces above. I was actually able to secure THREE of Ron's pieces through the mayhem, although looking back for the photo archives or the OUT OF STOCK flag, I'm cming up empty. That is the same for the piece I saw that had the profoundly doubled reverse.
Anyway, I was able to grab these photos of the three pieces I was fortunate to acquire. I think only one of these three remains on the site as OUT OF STOCK . . . . . .
I'll post mo' betta pichers when they arrive . . . . . . .

I have the 10 piece set that I will be selling, a couple of 1793 copper pieces, a half eagle gold piece. I was just in the midst of transferring them from GMM flips to quadrum holders. Three questions: how do I value them, sell on BST or eBay, sell as a couple of groups or en mass? Weird coincidence, seeing this thread. Keoj
Huge pewter cast medal for Exhibitors at the 1997 ANA show, original carved on and off over a 3 month period per the March 98 GMM newsletter.
Proof eagle that is just so cool and so well executed. In hindsight, I think it is awesome what these guys were doing in replicating late 18th century processes even though it was viewed as numismatic heresy at the time.
So sorry to hear that! I hope they find it as some have mentioned happened in the past!

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
Amazing images. I have a few of them in my collection.
I remember seeing a website or something that deals in Gallery Mint coins and their values, plus some biographical information on Ron Landis and Joe Rust. I found this reference :
Just Googling Gallery Mint shows there is a real connoisseurs market. Prices have risen since I last looked. But they are very rare and are now legitimately collected and graded.
