Here are two I wanted but had to pass on given other items on my list, including more of Dan's pieces!
These were sold for $670 tonight which seems like a great price given the gold content.
I believe these were struck for Chopper's.
I saw those (or some just like them) and wanted to buy but there was nothing in the listing (besides the title) or on the coin/slab saying they were actually Carr pieces. I couldn't find a reference to them in the "Catalog with Mintage Figures" on Dan's site either. Are they in the catalog? How are they classified, as they're not overstrikes?

The "1878" Stellas are listed in the "other" section because they were a commissioned project only.
The "1879" Grove Minting Stellas are also a commissioned project and are also listed on the "other" page (about 2/3 of the way down): moonlightmint.com/other.htm

Hat tip to DC for giving me a fantastic and informative private tour of his Moonlight Mint on Labor Day. Enjoy the pics; there were many other items I wanted to capture but I learned that some of it was very sensitive,...I’m respecting that here. Let’s just say I now know the O/S process. Very cool and ingenious. Just before I was ready to go on my way, DC gifted me with a very nice multi-struck Buffalo. I’m thankful for his time and generosity.
Wow!! That's awesome! And on my list for a visit there too if this Covid crap would simmer down.

Exclusively for KOTCT, Dan Carr annually produces Medals with a unique design. If history is any indication, in the Fall you'll be able to order those medals.
Older medals often sell for a premium on the bay, but sometimes you can snag a bargain if you're lucky.

OK, how crazy did people get with their orders? He certainly released a lot of material. I usually get just one of each type of overstrike and not all the dates or circulated ones.....

I couldn't decide which of the two IH cents to include in my order. So I ordered both.
Nowadays that's as crazy as I get.

Got the Native Head Nickels and the 3D Jefferson Nickel ............so far.
Got the Flying Eagle, the earlier Indian cent, and one Buffalo.
Now a question: Does DC email existing customers when new items are posted up or do I need to keep checking the website every 30 minutes like I have been?

As far as I know, you have to keep checking the website (or wait for the alert on here...could be too late though).
I've heard some on here mention that they set something up that alerts them when there is a change to the website. Those that do that can say more (if they want to reveal their secrets).

No email sent. Someone posts here when new items are added. Many of us check often. I have been known to check his main page daily, sometimes twice a day, when I think he's due. This doesn't last long though.
Someone will notice and the alert post will be up. There are enough fans that it won't take long after new items are listed that that we get informed. AND..... no mintage is certain to become large.

Here's a 2020 Open House piece from @USAROK that was sold recently. I wanted to get it but recently had a string of auction bad luck and didn't even get a bid in!
Cripple Creek isn't exactly Carson City, but they were both silver mining hot spots!

Those are beautiful. I have the 1881 too and it's a great piece.
The other ones are slightly different. The Jared Grove one is a 1879 and the Chopper one is a 1878.
Of note, Dan doesn't have a Flowing Hair yet so it seems like the 1878 was paired with a Flowing Hair done by another mint.

I've watched Dan's offerings almost every day for new production. Were these August 2020 ones listed there? I didn't see them.
No not available, I guess these are private commission.
I check often too, but for Roman Numerals in Date Peace Fantasy
Where are they available, I wonder? I lke the COVID Silver Eagle.
I think there is a Coin Show in Loveland soon, not 100% sure though.
New stuff up.....
Early 2021 for that one.

dont take pictures have someone else do it
Love the Flying Eagle design. Hopefully we'll see a circulated version. Maybe a larger-cent version too, like the 1854-55 patterns.
And maybe a Proof version based on the "skinny" flying eagle pattern.

I'm off to a relatively slow start, but am looking to rectify that shortly . . . . . .
This is the only DC piece I have at the moment. I am expecting to grow the "hoard" shortly however.

I think it would be acceptable for Dan to make gold plated, reeded racketeer nickels now. No one is going to confuse these with half eagles today.
Of course, it would be nice to strike some over real half eagles
