I'm sure no effort will be wasted on (illegally) duplicating legal tender 2021 Mint issues. The coinage laws are mostly in place for 2021 already so plenty of notice is given on what the Mint will be releasing, albeit will there be a Peace or a Morgan??
But if the Mint produces a 2021 Peace Dollar (original design) it may thwart a Broken Sword Peace Dollar unless an obvious design change is made?

The simple thing is to use a double date (1921-2021) if the Mint uses just 2021 and vice versa.
Of course it would be nice to use a Roman numeral date like the original Peace design.

Yes -- the Centennial 2 Oz Peace, COC. But maybe less verbiage and more artistry. Maybe similar to the 2012 Concept Currency pieces with a holographic outer ring. There is a couple currently posted on eBay. I don't have one or I'd post a pic.

Hey felinfoel, look at the signature on the backside of your slabs.
IIRC, prior to 2016, Dan actually hand-signed every ANACS label. Like these...
Whereas, later slabs use the same photo-reproduced signature...
Is a slab with the hand-signed signature worth more? Maybe -- to the right collector.
For instance, I believe some folks put a premium on coins in the old PCGS "rattler" holder (although that may have something to do with arguably tighter grading standards long ago).

I agree an actual SIGNATURE would be more valuable, how would this actually occur during grading? Would the piece be graded and sent back to DC for signature, then sent back for slabbing? Or slab certs be pre-signed in advance of certifying/assigning serial numbers? Just curious...

Akbeez, I believe the ANACS reverse slab certs are separate from the front certs. So I expect the certs were pre-signed. Maybe Dan will chime in and confirm (although I expect he's very occupied right now with the Denver Coin Expo Oct 1-3).
And IIRC, years ago Dan hand-signed the certificates you got with each purchase...
Nowadays, I think the best chance of getting a hand-signed cert is if you meet Dan at a Show or at an MM Open House event.

Mine's below. I still need to get the satin and prooflike!
This was struck for Chris M. Geiner of CMG Mint:
CMG MINT was founded in 2012 by Chris Geiner who is a third-generation coin collector. Being fascinated by art on Vintage art bars and rounds led to him seeking to have his own line and to bring back the lost hobby. 5 years and over 70 designs and collaborations later, he is still being creative with original works of art on silver.
It's been a slow week for me here. I have LOT of stuff still in possession of the USPS. I have NO idea when they will get around to dumping it all on me. Only two pieces came in this week. I've bought a bit of new stuff. Y'all know who you are that I got it from . . . . . .
