Found the bag during my corona virus lockdown cleaning. Forgot I had it. I hadn't misplaced the silver. I just pulled that out for the picture.

Man, That's awesome! I've never seen an Engelhard bag!

An 1882 Belgium 20 Franc piece for my world gold collection. While my main focus is AGEs and pre-33 U.S. gold, I do love to pick up these old foreign pieces at melt. I’ll occasionally pick one up if it’s from a country I don’t already have in my collection. Passes the time until the premiums come down on U.S. minted bullion.

    That's an attractive example! :)

Since I will more than likely never have the gold original, I decided to at least add this Silver 2 oz Intaglio Mint to my collection:

Well....without getting in too much trouble with our gracious hosts....he showed a prototype on Instagram of a cute beaver that....well, let's just say had recently been in contact with a razor! In his story he was running a yes or no survey asking if he should produce it for public sale. All I could do is send him the lol/crying emoji! Lmao! Stay tuned.

Don’t worry the virus won’t be on the silver. Silver antibacterial. ;)

@Kliao.... That is very true..... Always found it humorous, when, back in the early 2000's and the big drive to eliminate lead in electronics was going on (solder etc.)...They wanted to use silver... the big concern was 'leaching' of the lead in soil/water.... Well, lead does not leach, but silver does, and it is fatal to aquatic life and other organisms. Cheers, Ricko

A virus is not a bacteria although it wouldn't surprise me if silver also killed viruses.
I read that UV light will kill viruses.

And, when putting it away, I snapped a quick picture in the box I keep some of my silver collection in.

    I think I may have a slight addiction. :D

Yes sir. They take up way too much space in the safe. Bought all these year of issue from "The Mint".

I thought it was plastic, too. Bakelite, to be precise, but, I found it's actually horn. :D It's a Jensen piece.

The ribbon around the top of the spoons - can't quite make out the lettering. What is it?

Already cracked them all out. I'm hanging on to them anyway. Almost 31 rolls worth. So worth the extra space.
I also have about 300 to 400 1992 silver proof sets, some still sealed in the original US Mint blue shipping boxes. Bought over the years at regional coin shows on the cheap when silver was EL CHEAPO.
