nice set. Hopefully I didn’t scrap any of his stuff :#. It’s a baby fork and food pusher correct?

Exactly. There were spoons, forks, food pushers, knifes, even cups and plates.

It makes me happy that nice old silver like that is saved and does not get scrapped and turned into brand new .999 items

@cmanbb....I really like that 2 oz (troy I presume) cube of gold.... Like a big nugget as opposed to a coin design. Cheers, RickO

    @cmanbb , those are absolutely and completely S I C K. Unbelievably cool!

And they look, like, I don't know, MS66 grade.

We are like children who look at print and see a serpent in the last letter but one, and a sword in the last.

Nice assortment mesh, curious what the random one ounce bars went for. I saw a bunch of Englehard one ounces during a business trip, but store warned melt +3.

What do most pay for amark, englehard, j&m bars ( not poured)

Inexpensive pickup on eBay. Love this modern pattern from 1927. Pyramid by Georg Jensen...

    That’s a classic pattern! I love Jensen’s work:

I have this example, an earlier piece 1920’s mark:

    Today’s newps:
Tougher dates! at least the 1999 is

The 99 has some milk spots, I’m not crazy about that, but overall it’s a nice looking coin. :)

I wasn’t aware of that type... the modern obverse like the current ones, but with that reverse.

A cool find. I’ve always loved the Mexican Libertads!

Nice batch of Wallace Rose Point. You might look at ebay for some pricing ideas and sell some of the higher demand serving pieces and turn the profit into more silver. Also if your looking to turn your sterling into 999 let me know I can help or point you to a few other great sources.

I don’t know if I shared this picture before but a while back I got bored and pulled out all my silver flatware and hollowware. This is not including the 30+ small Souvenir spoons I have. Really didn’t know I had this much silver till I laid it all out. The best part is it was all cheap!
My parents didn’t like that I made a mess on the floor :#

    Sweet!

The Wallace rosepoint was from a garage sale for $18. 12 place setting. Missing a few pieces but nice. Also has 4 large serving spoons, 2 ladles, and a few others.

That would be neat to turn my finds to bullion. I really do hate to melt stuff like this but if it’s not selling for more than scrap 999 bullion is the way to go. Do you also refine gold jewelry scrap?

Looks like a spoon for a young child.

I thinks it’s a baby spoon because of the handle that’s curled back.

It’s larger than your typical baby spoon. Actual type? Not sure to be honest. Probably just a general use spoon. The quality it top notch though! :)

The quality has to be good. Georg Jensen is a very popular silversmith.

More research shows that the pattern was probably made with the curl.
