Exactly. There were spoons, forks, food pushers, knifes, even cups and plates.

It makes me happy that nice old silver like that is saved and does not get scrapped and turned into brand new .999 items

I swapped over to VIntage Poured Bars (VPB) about a 9-10 months ago. I collect any vintage type bars but now narrowing down to the higher end bars like CMMs, Foster, SF Assays and some fantasy bars like Arizona Assay Office, Yellow Daisy and Nevada Corp.

The 99 has some milk spots, I’m not crazy about that, but overall it’s a nice looking coin.

I wasn’t aware of that type... the modern obverse like the current ones, but with that reverse.

A cool find. I’ve always loved the Mexican Libertads!

I don’t know if I shared this picture before but a while back I got bored and pulled out all my silver flatware and hollowware. This is not including the 30+ small Souvenir spoons I have. Really didn’t know I had this much silver till I laid it all out. The best part is it was all cheap!
My parents didn’t like that I made a mess on the floor

Nice batch of Wallace Rose Point. You might look at ebay for some pricing ideas and sell some of the higher demand serving pieces and turn the profit into more silver. Also if your looking to turn your sterling into 999 let me know I can help or point you to a few other great sources.

The Wallace rosepoint was from a garage sale for $18. 12 place setting. Missing a few pieces but nice. Also has 4 large serving spoons, 2 ladles, and a few others.

That would be neat to turn my finds to bullion. I really do hate to melt stuff like this but if it’s not selling for more than scrap 999 bullion is the way to go. Do you also refine gold jewelry scrap?

Just a lump of stainless for me. The GMT I've had for a few years but dont wear often due to its 1968 vintage. The Sea-Dweller was a great deal from a new business partner, dates to just after my HS graduation.
