I’ve looked for the perfect 1841 for quite a while. Considered a common date but try to find one looking like this. I had to have it....

Recent addition to the type set of chopmarked Seated Halves, still need an 1853 and an 1873/4. The 1839 No Drapery almost certainly doesn't exist with chops:
As an aside, does anyone know of a Capitol Plastics (or similar) holder for Seated Halves by type?

Yes, it's certified. Our host saw it as a AU55, I have always looked at it as closer to an AU58. At that point we're splitting hairs though. It's a Very Choice example ... strike, surfaces and skin alike.
