Nice counterfeit 1872-S Seated half (in a real slab).
Thanks- it is a pretty (in)famous struck counterfeit. There have been several articles written about this "variety" by the LSCC as well as 2 I wrote for both Coin Week and the Numismatist.
Recent addition to the type set of chopmarked Seated Halves, still need an 1853 and an 1873/4. The 1839 No Drapery almost certainly doesn't exist with chops:
As an aside, does anyone know of a Capitol Plastics (or similar) holder for Seated Halves by type?

This is a super clean example. Is it certified? If so what grade did it receive? If not I'd be very curious to hear some opinions on this one.
Thanks jedm!
Yes, it's certified. Our host saw it as a AU55, I have always looked at it as closer to an AU58. At that point we're splitting hairs though. It's a Very Choice example ... strike, surfaces and skin alike.

I’ve looked for the perfect 1841 for quite a while. Considered a common date but try to find one looking like this. I had to have it....
This coin is very close to having a 360 degree die crack on the reverse!
A beauty. Congratulations

This one has a few nasty scratches, but hey, it's still a nice coin in my opinion.

Here is one of my favorites, the color is so nice and original for a circulated coin. I had it for a really good price too!
