Looks like the $9.73 set was listed in the "collectibles" category rather than the "coins" category. Probably the sets in the low $20's were also. Which might explain why they didn't receive higher bids.I didn't find them because I was searching in the "coins" category.
Recent prices in the "coins" category have ranged from about $27 to $37. Nothing below $26 in the past month. That's more reflective of market prices than prices realized in the "collectibles" category, where fewer people are looking.

Auctions on these sets have been weak since August. [Although not that weak!] It has been fairly common for auctions to go under $30 all along. I really don't know why people bother. I learned 15 years ago not to run $0.01 auctions with no reserve unless I was willing to take 1 cent for the item.
The only odd thing about Bullion Measures "clearance sale" is that their fixed price listings still exist at $35. Seems to me they' be better served just selling them all at $30 fixed rather than mess with the auctions.

Prices continue unchanged. BIN are 32 to 35. Auctions are all over the map, generally in the 20s. Been that way largely since August 3rd. Occasional sale in the 40s.

Generally speaking, unless there are specific reasons for a listing not being in the most popular category for itself, then prices realized, as a pure auction, will be suspect and outliers. Only if it is listed, at the same time as a multiple category listing, in the correct category, would I validate it.
Which is more likely to be an accurate perception of the "real" value of a high end Franklin half? Let's say it is even slabbed in PCGS MS67FBL:

The one warning sign is sellers starting to thin out .. meaning sellers following buyers losing interest in set

Interesting....so the fact that some are willing pay $49 is just a fluke....I probably agree...but....I still say it is dumb to put these at auction never knowing how low they will go AND with present added history. Just list them at $32/$35/$49 whatever and see what happens....$32 is better than nine bucks
